There are many reasons to why I'm not making any more
but here are the ones that I can enumerate.
1. It takes too much time; These videos take months to make and I don't have the motivation to sink in that much time for one video.
2. It's too stressful; The videos have many parts which are very complex.
As I am still a solo creator it puts a lot of pressure on me (This doesn't mean that these videos would continue even if I get help, refer to no. 3)
3. Like in no. 1, lack of motivation and novelty (to me). The original reason this series ever started was because I wanted to try new ideas that I haven't done. Compounded with the work load over a year of time, it's too monotonous to me now.
In the novelty part, the informational part was my idea to add on to the videos to make them more unique. There are probably people who wouldn't mind the just plain 100 days but I find it a little boring.
This doesn't mean new ideas that are not related to 100 days can be suggested. Infact, I encourage them.

Your description literally contradicts what you’re asking. You don’t want people to ask for more 100 days videos but videos related to 100 days are encouraged to be asked. Literally makes no sense
I love how mobs actually used to be a threat, even late game
hard to escape those mobs
You should definitely continue into releases, especially while you still have this much enthusiasm for Minecraft, it will continue to bring in new viewership like me for example, I came to your channel because these videos are unique and informative. Also for many of us Minecraft players, nostalgic, as these releases (alpha and beta) are the ones I used to play as a kid and love revisiting them again.
It would take his focus away from fortnite but we want more fortnite and fifa videos

Creators should create what they want to, it's more fun that way bc we get way more passionate content rather than forced enthusiasm

The motivation and ideas just come as you go. As someone who mainly plays Minecraft Beta 1.2 for simple Survival, I must say that once your big projects like your giant wood houses with the occasional cobblestone accents start coming along nicely, you just really want to continue building it because of how rewarding it feels and how it just overall spices up the overall world by it just standing there. The challenge of having to make your stuff look good by actually thinking about which details are where is also a lot of fun, the game makes you think a lot more about what you're actually doing in those early versions.

@@_SilentRiver_ That's what I do too. Just as you go you keep thinking, hey why not add another room there, or hey why not make that room even bigger or hey why not make that house even bigger in total? Next thing you know you sit in a giant mansion and you've been working on this thing for 4 days

Yep, I discovered Minecraft in this version, and it's crazy how it's "close" (in some way) to the modern Minecraft that we know today. This update really built what Minecraft is today !

Then when 1.20 comes out he should make 1.11 through 1.20

The squid milking feature existed because Mojang initially used the cow model to make the squid and forgot to remove the milking feature

No, It's too much work, he doesn't like at all mining for stone for small parts of his bridge, If he had to search for iron, Wood and redstone to build a railroad in an bridge that's this big he would go insane... Maybe when farms would exist, but there's still a long way to go

Man this video gives me immense nostalgia. I started playing the game during the Beta days and it's crazy to me that I still remember exactly what was added in each version. I consistently played Minecraft from 2011-2021, but I haven't found myself playing the game even a single time in 2022 which is the first time in over a decade that I've taken this long of a break. Thank you for posting this video.

I started playing minecraft in Beta, I don't fully know when I started. But it was very least Pre Pistons and such. And I just spent so much enjoying the game, seeing this one and the Alpha video really stirred up joys of the past. Thanks.

Hope you do something like 500 or so days through all the release versions of the game. I started playing back in release 1.3 and man was that update fun, talking about all the updates and getting info on them is very informative and entertaining to watch. Please keep going my guy because this boost in steam your channel is getting won't last forever.
This one was much longer than the last one, allowing room for some extra humor and life(hey, just like the updates themselves gained more life as time went on!), and giving us just a bit more this time. Highly entertaining, and I look forward to whatever else you decide to work on!

Maaaaaan. It's been ten and a half years already. The Xbox 360 Edition was my very first exposure to Minecraft, I'm glad they started with the beta versions of the game, I really liked the old balance before they added hunger and stacked food. As with the 100 days in Alpha, this video does a good job of being really informative in a concise way, thanks for making it!

this was around the time Jeb joined the team, and the first mob he made was the squid which was made from the AI of the cow.
unfortunately he forgot to remove the milk function so you could milk squids.

I think it's crazy that I watched through the whole alpha video and beta video trying to remember when exactly I started playing Minecraft myself, only to get the very end and realize that it was beta 1.8 when I started playing. There were a lot instances that made me think "Oh it was this version!", but kept being reminded that I knew for a fact that food could stack. Although I suppose that it should have been pretty easy to figure out because I never had a PC forever, and so I first played Minecraft on the Xbox 360.
I started playing Minecraft on PC in 2017 in 1.12.2, but before that I had a short stint of playing the Xbox One edition

100 Days in Alpha and Beta were amazing videos! Alpha 1.1.2 is my fave Alpha version and Beta 1.3 is my fave Beta version. Been playing in Alpha and Beta since about June 2018, and it's been lots of fun. Got a massive Storage room with a Hostile Mob system in the middle.(Inspired by Ethoslab) It rewarding when you plan out things you want to do in your world instead of going about it willy nilly, but then again spontaneity can breed creativity as well! :D

Thanks for the video, it really resparked my love for old Minecraft. I’ll still play the new version but you reminded me I don’t need to do everything so intensely or compare myself to others. I can make simple things and enjoy them. Which is what I realized I missed the most about old Minecraft.
