It's great to see people talking about changing their lives and getting a second chance. True crime and prison are often dramatized by third parties -it's great to see it told from firsthand perspectives.
I love how this channel shows how prison can be a stepping stone to a person's true calling. If I hadnt been sentenced I would have died on the streets and never would have found the passions that allow me to be a productive member of society. i hope that someday I can help people that have fallen into the same path that I did. Strife and hard circumstances can forge diamonds. Thank you for your work and I look forward to future episodes.
I found you on tiktok and am happy to watch you here...my son has been in and out of jail and prison since hes been 17 and now he's 32. Watching this story was inspiring and it's something I am going to discuss with my son as hopefully he will be coming home in August. Thank you for sharing and doing this, amazing work!!
My mother died in a house fire while I was in jail. It was most horrible devastating thing I ever went through. Laying in a damp, cold cell couldn't sleep couldn't eat just a horror
Another amazing story. Ian you have really done an amazing job. You do your homework, you’re always prepared with great questions and a really important point you make your guest feel comfortable and let them speak without interruption. Best podcast out there bar none
Just started watching you, I’m a truck driver and Iv listened to all your interviews and they rock man. Your doing great brother, keep the fire. P.S. Interview Someone who’s actively a death row inmate. Food for thought.
I discovered both of you recently. I've never been arrested but I'm surprised I never was because of situations I found myself in. I had a rollercoaster of an upbringing and lost a lot of people I loved and many in tragic ways. I ran with quite the crowd too. I dated somebody who was in and out of jail and had lots of friends who were, and still are too. It's interesting hearing your stories. People may have their negative comments but as a person who saw it all and sees it now, I do believe there are people who are capable of change ❤️
They wanted to make an example out of him. And that's wrong. They all did the same crimes they should have been punished the same. Jesse didn't even try to strike a deal, he was taking full accountability for his actions. That's what's wrong with the system. It should be those that show remorse and take accountability, should be taken into consideration.
Amazing video, amazing conversation. Love when you wait a few seconds after he’s done speaking to respond, really feels like the viewer is getting a full sense of the conversation
Perhaps some day there will he more and more success stories like this guy.. congrats to his family, friends and girl to be there for during and after for him! 👍
I am just tuning in, I've been waiting for this for a long time. I follow both of yall on TT. I hope this is as good as I hope it will be. I'll chime in when I'm done watching it.
Love watching you both, and again loved the episode with your pops on there, you can tell he is just an all around amazing man, keep up the good work Ian and jesse
Been watching Jesse on tiktok forever. one of the most genuine nice guys who knows how to talk and convey what he is trying to say. good to see him doing so well. hard to think he was ever that guy with the gun but bad times happen
Love this ❤ for some reason I’m on prison side of TikTok ! And I follow so many ! Y’all are doing amazing so glad to see y’all doing well striving for change ! Here for it 😊 waiting for next podcast
If there would be any prisoner who deserves to be pardoned it would be this guy. Even though he had a violent gun crime, he did everything he could to show, through his actions, that he was constantly attempting to reform himself.
Something about Jesse maybe it’s the way he talks maybe it’s his intelligence maybe it’s his ability to tell his story but when he speaks I just want to listen what a amazing person he is
Thank you both for the message of hope that you continue to spread. It is so uplifting and positive to those who hear your story. It gives me a completely different view of the criminal justice system and is so eye opening. Keep spreading your message because is DOES make a difference ❤
My husband and I had a LTR for two years - he was in Australia and I in the US - and I know exactly what Jesse meant when he talked about his - you know love when you feel it, not when you sexy time it. I don't think he and Courtney are together any more, but at least he knew love and so did she.
There are so many smart people that Ian has featured that are convicts. I really believe that drugs and lack of understanding that really influence these smart people making destructive decisions.
Jesse, do you have ADHD? No hate!! I have it pretty severely. You just talk very fast and kind of all over the place just like I do. So, I am just ever so curious. I've been obsessed with your channel and binge watching it!!!!!! :) Also, to the interviewer, what a fantastic interview!
@0:58 they were recovering addicts. Mom was a lawyer and dad was a counselor. I don't claim my parents as addicts because they used drugs a few times in the 1960's. Big Bick and this dude can stretch stories.
Also....i just cannot understand why you got SUCH a long sentence Jesse??!! #1, you didnt even kill anybody. And did I hear correctly that 20 years of the sentence was for the robbery?!?! Ok that sentencing makes me absolutely sick over our "justice" system. Wow. I'm just so happy you're out and I'll see ya over on your channel!
Ian I F with u a lot my ghee but relax some opening up the podcast and all not so stiff lol, obviously it's ur 1st one but just letting u know bruh. Hope nothing but the best🙏🙏
So they gave him 32 years which he felt was a lot. But from the sound of it he shot at these guys and hit them? So they saw it as attempted murder? I know he shot at them but it does sound like he almost killed at least one. Which makes sense why it was so many years. I know most states hold kidnapping at a high crime so kidnapping, attempted murder, gun use, illegal gun use, sounds like 32 years kind of fits? But he did get out after 19.
Sounds like the playback speed is on 2X with this guy.
Thats the cocaine

I really like the way u did ur pod, u let them speak and didn’t interrupt a hundred times. I can’t wait to see more episodes 😊
Exciting episode this week!
Helps to have a good story teller on the other end
Editing does wonders

😢that’s awful! Sorry you had to go through that at such a low point in your own life.
Another great interview Ian! I learn more and more with each one. Keep them coming. Thank you 🙏
Thank you so much🙏
This guy is incredibly insightful.
Found your channel, now I’m just binge watching. Very very insightful and nice to see someone else acknowledge how crazy it is in the system.
Thanks for this!Excellent interview.
This guy is locked in 👏👏👏

Keep up the great content! Looking forward to the next podcast.

Awesome interview! Different spin from other prison shows
Thank you!
It was amazing to hear this story and I'm looking forward to hearing many more!
Cool podcast. I've never heard your crazy story before and I live pretty close to Danbury. Excited for your future episodes
P.s. you gotta get the bussin or disgustin guy on lol
Thank you sir! The next episode we have my dad on which will give good context to the past.
Loved this!! Such a genuine guy!
Love your podcasts. Both of you doing big things!
I'm so glad I found this channel I am about to binge watch ❤
Fantastic interview
Thank you!!

Dude. This video will have 5 million views one day. Amazing interview, both of y’all are class acts👌🏾
I think it’s so funny how those guys would hold people hostage, chase you down with weapons. Only to snitch to the police once arrested.
good luck to the dude,i hope he achieves everything he sets out for.
Great podcast, hoping this picks up and gets the traction it deserves.
Ian, you are incredible. just discovered your content. thank you, and your guests for your work. good luck with your endeavors.
This guy is intelligent. Definitely rehabilitated. All the best to you and your family. 🙏
Good podcast bro can't wait for more
More to come!
That brick under mike is a great touch !!!
Loved this interview

My man is yoked up! Mad respect for him! The story is great!
Jesse is the man!
@@ianbickCT you’re the man Ian! Mad respect to you!! 🫡
Bro love your mission bro !!!
You guys really are inspirational.
Take notes, Johnny Mitchell. This is how you do an interview.
My brother just came home from doing 10 years for 2nd degree murder for time ever arrested can he get an interview?
Love the prison content. Keep killing it 💪🏼💪🏼
Super well spoken dude

What an amazing story...
Two of my favorites!!
This guy is on something strong…
Dude has a great voice for voice acting or something
@0:58 they were recovering addicts. Mom was a lawyer and dad was a counselor.
I don't claim my parents as addicts because they used drugs a few times in the 1960's.
Big Bick and this dude can stretch stories.
They may have been addicted to alcohol 🍸 😕 you don't have to be a raging drunk to be addicted
Where do they get the locks from?
This dude talks as fast as my brain thinks when I'm trying to sleep at 2am.
70 million views, what does that translate into dollars? Will you be able to move out of your parents' basement soon?
Ian has to pay 400,000 in restitution.
Great tshirt 😂🙌 love it.
I heard Jesse was on your show, I kept looking through the thumbnails and could not find him. I realized he shaved his head. Much better look for him!
He's such a good man
Ian Bick held pockets in prison
What level 4 prison in VA have locks to put in a sock?

Damn , i didn't even get a stimulus check and people in prison got them. That must of been nice .
Your phone will be your next prison
how do i being a channel member i want to watch the new larry lawton video you had posted today
32 years? Way to long
Ian we need Billy McFarland on for an episode!
17:40
"Welcome to Medieval Times".
Brilliant
Now imagine a black man saying this . Because he was white he got out early . Think of that poor maid
His lawyer was trash
new subscriber here
Good luck Jesse
Locked in
I have a hard time listening as fast as he talks. 😂
I love your content follow u on tik tok
Thank you!!
No sympathy for kids that came from money. Poor them
Ooohhh buddy I have dodged missles coming straight at me in the court room
Blessed many times over
I'm sorry yall got caught
Jesse your the man
Banky Pound prolly knows him.
Been a fan, he just came to my city and didn’t say what’s up
You're not anyone that needs to be checked in with by other random people lol wtf
11:55 I thought there was no deal
I mean should he have shot those people? Probably not...But they were chasing him and who knows what they would have done if they caught him.
Ian I F with u a lot my ghee but relax some opening up the podcast and all not so stiff lol, obviously it's ur 1st one but just letting u know bruh. Hope nothing but the best🙏🙏
I definitely got more comfortable in the more recent episodes!
Love Jesse. Guy is out using his story and knowledge to help. Ian is the new Cringe King on the other hand.
I disagree. Usually I change the playback speed to 1.5 bc most ppl talk way too slow. I didn’t have to adjust it at all this time. He’s perfect.
So they gave him 32 years which he felt was a lot. But from the sound of it he shot at these guys and hit them? So they saw it as attempted murder? Imagined Ian was smaller
Based on how fast and manic this guy speaks, he's definitely still on coke.
Or anxiety...I have anxiety and talk really fast when I'm nervous
I found this because of JD delay
This guy sounds like Ben Shapiro
Where ak50?
