If you are visiting Japan for the first time, I think this is a very good reference for a summary of typical tourist attractions. Visiting all of these places in 14 days is a busy plan with lots of travel time. I think it is better to see about half to one third of these places.
Hello Lais, Thank you for your information. It was very enlightening to see the map of Japan and your travel route. It was also some great advice to see how to use google maps there in Japan.
Ideas about what to visit in Japan are always welcome. I prepare for our trip to Japan in November. I don't like to run around, so I'll plan a more lazy itinerary :) . Can't wait to get there :) . Appreciate the vid!
I was planning to go to Japan June 24-July 5 , 2024…. Even though it is the rainy season, I figured that it wouldn’t be pouring 24/7….. However, I now hear that Air Conditioning is minimal, and it is warm / muggy even in hotels, other buildings and vehicles. If true, this will be a game changer for me. I can deal with the outside heat as long as I can get relief…
So about 3 months ago I set out my trip like this Tokyo, Nikko, Misawa, Ogaki, and finally Tokyo. Although I had places in mind to go it was never an extensive minute by minute where I'm gonna be but rather just how I will get from point a to point b type of trip. Coming back now I'm glad I made it through no issues and I would recommend to others that my experience is based off from a 20 something year old solo traveler so you plan it out how you like I just hate being forced to go place to place without the liberty of it actually feeling like a vacation
I must have watched the intro to this video over a dozen times. Your voice, the music, and the beautiful scenery in the background really touches the spirit of traveling. My trip is in August, and I've referenced this video many times for locations and inspiration. Love the content, and hope to see more of this quality of videos from you!
Is there any way you can release an improved version of this video with just narration? I can barely hear what you’re saying, and i don’t like reading closed captions (because if i *have to* read, then might as well just read a travel blog 😅)
really nice video with a lot information which will help us for our japan trip. maybe one tipp for hopefully more videos: while naming the place in the video please add text to know exatly the name :) thanks and move on
When you are travelling place to place, are you also carrying all your luggage with you? For example when you spent the day in Nara before going to Kyoto, where was your luggage?
Unfortunately the background music overpowered the narrative, making this video almost unwatchable. I ended up turning off the sound and using closed caption to understand what was being said.
@@RohitGupta-io1hl I already have re-made my 14Days in Japan video and adjusted the background music. Here the link: ruclips.net/video/QGcC844f-SI/видео.htmlsi=FKt1t-8xNpsTSKOQ
Hi, thanks for this its so helpful! I am landing in Tokyo and starting the trip there though, could you recommend the order in which i should see all these places starting with tokyo? thank you so much
Glad to hear it helps you. If you want to do a roundtrip and your departure is Tokyo as well, I would do Yokohama and Mt. Fuji as day trips from Tokyo then go to Osaka - Kyoto - Nagano -and back to Tokyo.
Hey, no we did not use the JR pass for this trip, since we wanted to enjoy each destination and we were traveling for 14 Days. If we would have done 7 days, we would have saved some money. 7days pass aprox 225$ and 14 Days pass aprox. 338$.
Yes, JR pass is mainly for long trips. Subway card and pasmo cards are only for the city. Currently there are some rumors that the pasmo card will be cancelled. But no worries there are still the subway cards for Tokyo and Osaka as well as you can buy one way tickets for each destination in the city.
I would like to visit Japan by myself, but I am scared of getting lost due to the signs written in japanese. I am really worried about the feeling of being lost with no method to understand a single word, and this is really frustrating. Is there anyone who has my same fear regarding Japan? Furthermore, there are so many transport options available that I get completely overwhelmed.
You have no fear of the Japanese language. Please use a smartphone app. Let's create an action plan in advance by watching RUclips videos. And when you encounter difficulties, let's seek help from people around you. They will likely be devoted in assisting you."
Everything was pronounced in English. Zozoji Temple doesn’t have those food stalls normally. You got lucky. Osaka Castle is a replica (outside only). Original castles don’t have elevators. Otherwise, everything else is accurate. You spent time to get things right. Many other recent videos have wrong or out of date information. It’s sad. People just want to make easy money by misleading their viewers.
this is SUPER INFORMATIVE! i already know some of these but i watched the whole thing anyway, because the quality 🤌🏼
Yay! Thank you! Glad you liked it🇯🇵

@@laistahir How is the air conditioning in Japan? Hotels, restaurants, tour buses?
In Hotels and Tour buses you can find AC, however do not expect it in all the restaurants.

We managed to visit 5 of these places + Okinawa in 1 month. We took our time :)
Wow😍😍
Great video! What time did you visit the Shibuya Sky Building? Did you go at sunset?
Unfortunately, we did miss the Sunset 🌇. However it was still breathtaking, it was around 7/8pm.

There are many websites you can buy from and prices are changing permanently. Here is a website you can check the prices m.jrpass.com
