@@nickalkire1187 That's because Tennessee Tuxedo and Inspector Gadget are both voiced by Don Adams. I used to watch Inspector Gadget a long time ago when I was little.
I forgot about these until I binged Pepper Ann on Disney+ recently. He played her principal on there, and I decided to look at his filmography after watching it. He had a cool voice. I remember watching this on Nickelodeon now, along with Inspector Gadget and Get Smart on Nick at Nite. I miss Don Adams
It was my favorite as a small child. Seeing them now, I realize this cartoon was actually clever and witty and not just babyish stuff that only tykes would like.
When Don Adams did the voice for this he was also doing "Get Smart"--the "mega salaries" that stars of sitcoms make now didn't exist then-as a result Mr. Adams had to supplement his salary doing this too
Actually, he started voicing Tennesse Tuxedo in 1963, two whole years before Get Smart debuted. And Tennesse ended its run in 1966, while Get Smart was still in its first season.
A penguin wanting corn in a cartoon sponsored by a cereal company. Imagine that. In addition to vegetables like corn, also demanding soda pop (corn syrup).
Why is this considered the best episode? They did a great job @ teaching you where vegetables come from, how to start a garden, and encouraging kids to want vegetables. Kinda weird a penguin would want vegetables, but it was funny.
You're right, being friendly with animals, especially when you're a zookeper or the police will put You on jail because the animal cruelty is a serious crime in the U.S.A.
