Demonstration of a hive lift (crane lift)

In this short video ned Stoller of Michigan AgrAbility demonstrates a hitch mounted crane lift for moving hive bodies. This tool limits the weight a small-scale beekeeper with lifting restrictions is moving during inspections or while moving equipment.

The crane lift clamp was custom made by Michigan AgrAbility. We are working on an article with design specs that will be published in Bee Culture magazine likely this summer.
