Went to Pro Golf 2 days ago & got the G425 Crossover 4 iron on sale for $185 to replace my 11 year old hybrid I dislike. It's insane how easy it is to hit & landed it soft from 200 out in the rain at 40* out for a nice birdie + worked it well off the tee on a couple tricky dogleg holes! I don't mind the slightly larger head it provides vs the new iCrossover, so for those looking at getting one of these, I'd recommend trying the G425 Crossover & nab it on sale!
Mike, the audio on your videos is HEAVILY left speaker/left headphone dominant. Do please figure out a way to have more balanced audio across both left and right speaker/headphone I don't have this audio issue on any other videos -- only yours Keep up the great content 🍻
Isn’t there a 1.5 +- that doesn’t affect lie and everything between does? The settings you showed had a zero at 1.5…as in no lie change. Or am I seeing that wrong.
I saw the video title then in 20 seconds saw he hit it 250 total damn near dead straight with a smooth n easy 100mph club speed and knew: oh, ok, clubs fine. lol
Omg, the sound even though it’s a great shot. Who cares about sound when it plays so good? Same about the looks. If it’s a good club for me, I don’t care what it looks or sounds like
I could NEVER hit this club ever - would have to keep it for self defence under my bed ! My irons begin with a six iron - used off the tee on some par 3 holes 😀 For golfers who can - ENJOY !
Bought one a couple of weeks ago, a few 250 yarders on the course. But I still come over the top way too much to hit it consistently. Working on becoming a slot rocket.
At least the club being discussed is still in the title and thumbnail. I hate when channels start hiding even that basic information and unsubscribed from Average Golfer, SAS, James Robinson. They all had good content at one point though.
Ping trying to be too complicated and fancy. Hosestly, what market are they going to attract with this product? Whats wrong with a Ping Blueprint 2 iron in your spec? Ping need to offer incremental swingweight adjustment for the amateur golfer not for pros only but they dont and that sucks. They expect the crappy amateur golfer to fork out £1500 on a new set of irons at a swing weight three to four swingweights too light!!? How on earth do they expect the player to hit consistent and oure golfshots when he or she is all over the place on the backswing cos the swingweight is all to cock. Wake up Ping? Well if its all about shareholder demands for more profit and for that reason they dont want to merge markets... wel see ya later and off to companies like PXG who do offer the amateur golfer correct swingweight. Simples!!!

Would love to see an i230 4i vs i525 4i vs iCrossover 4i video!
Would you be able to do a comparison with the G425 Crossover? Thanks!

I thought I was going deaf in my right ear for a second
Purchased this tonight … absolutely blown away with how this club performed !!!
I'm going to buy it in a 4 and take the TM RBZ hybrid out
@@IcantfindGavin yeah I removed my hybrid too .
Mizuno MP Fli-Hi vs. Ping I230 Crossover?
i just got this club the weirdest thing about it is that it puts the ball on the fairway 225 to 260 yds
Thanks mike great info as always
Would this go in your bag? I use my P790udi 2 iron. I like the idea of changing the loft and lie.
Lower roll on the higher loft. Makes sense.
Nice & helpful!
I’d like a 5iron version.
Looks really good at address.
You have also tested the Mizuno FlyHi ... which do you think is easier to hit? Thx. The 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
I think you said lowing the loft made the lie flatter and then said moving the loft up made the lie angle flatter? Im confused.
I know Ping puts tungsten in the hosel, but in this club, I would doubt it because of the adjustable sleeve. Correct ?

Yes but at 0 loft which plays it at the 18* standard loft the lie is 1.5 upright
@@MichaelNewtonGolf ahh ok I gotcha I wasn’t seeing that. Nice!

Its like you've never hit a club with some offset. This is how most of us play--with more forgiving, slightly offset clubs.
It’s not the offset, it’s when the shaft meets the hosel 👍
I think you're getting used to the black finishes on driving irons
Interesting club. I'm thinking the ability to change the loft can help draw or fade easier. have you tested that?
The new Ping crossover looks so SEXY

Bounce is the thing which would be most affected not lie

These are different lofts so not sure the loft will be changed that much +/- 1.5.
what?
@@krusher74 I’m glad I’m not the only one struggling to understand this comment
Think he means the crossover is also available in 3 & 4 iron lofts as well as the 2 iron
The lie angle change shouldn’t be a big issue on tee shots.
Your voice audio is hard panned left for some reason.
That's not a good strike, only carried 232 and it was offline 20 feet. 😂
👏🏻
So there is nothibg "Weird" about it? just started clickbaiting
Guessing you didn’t watch the whole video then! 🙄
Did you not watch the part about the hosel looking bent when you adjust the loft?
I still play my TM Gapr lo. Love it, most of the time. It has a lot of adjustability as well.

@@lawbinson yes agree, I’ve noticed more and more doing it now….not my bag
