This is a terrific tutorial, and the one of several armadillo boot tutorials I've found on RUclips . This is the one that I plan on using, because it expands and decorates rather than physically alters an existing shoe for an actor. By using an existing shoe one does not put a performer at as much risk as modifying one if (as I do) have no training with shoe making or heel replacement. This is not a dis of those other tutorials (which are awesome of one has the needed skill set) but this is both within a normal crafter/costumer's skill set, while making a great approximation of this type of shoe when it is needed without sacrificing safety!
