The kit arrived yesterday and I tried it out today. A game changer for sure! Quality product and worth the price. Detailed instructions on removing the old cart caps and installing the pad eyes. Thanks!
Just finished putting together your pad eye and bungee system on my outback. Seriously a quality product. You are a pro. The game is totally changed. No more wasting time unloading on the boat dock. So much faster and easier. Thank you!!! Worth EVERY penny.
I just got around to converting my Hobie wheel set to use your bungee system. It works great. I just ordered another bungee set from you via eBay. I have two of the exact same Hobie Mirage Outback. From 2021 (or 2020).
Nice cart! Have you tried leaving it under the boat while on a lake? That'd be kick a if you could leave it and just get out and drag your boat right out of the lake. Yes i am that lazy😀
Will your ebay kit work on a 2008 Outback with the orginal Hobie Standard Plug In Kayak Cart? The top of the standard cart barely pokes out of the Outback when loaded. Thanks.
I’m not 100% sure. No one around me has anything older than a 2015. I think the hulls are the same from 2008 to 2018 but you do not have the new Vantage seat which is where the bungee kit clips on to. I don’t think there is anywhere on that cloth seat to clip the bungees to
Just lift the back and let the wheels fall out. You can either have the bow in the water along with most of the kayak and then lift, or you can have the stern in the water and the tip of the bow still on dry land and you lift from the stern. That’s really just personal preference or a matter of how deep the water is or the boat ramp that I can stand in.
@@nelsonfelixoutdoors6095 hi dear. It's impossibile to buy. I have serched on amazon and article not found. I found a store in usa but the costs whit scipment is very expensive. 50 dollars
I’m not 100% sure, and I don’t know anyone with the folding cart to verify. The inside diameter of the tubing would have to be the same size as the Hobie trax cart in order to fit the pad eyes. That’s the only really thing that will matter. The bungees are kayak model specific no matter what cart is used .
@@markglorioso4590 you can find them online, they are made by Hobie but they tend to break sometimes so I came up with an improved stainless steel version of the plastic ones . I made a video about them, I’ll put the link below . I sell them on eBay . My eBay store is Anzol Tackle Company

Hobie kayaks, the largest kayak fishing manufacturer in the world , which is the one in the video, makes the cart im using and recommends it’s use . They have reinforced the scuppers for this reason . These kayaks are now $3,400 bare . I don’t think a manufacture can afford to warranty a $3,000 + piece of plastic that often , so I trust the scuppers. This is my 3rd hobie outback, all were previously sold for upgraded models in great condition and all have been used with the scupper cart for years.

I left them on by mistake one time and thought I had an anchor out. I couldn’t pedal more than 2 miles an hour with all the drag it created
Nice build what diameter of bungee and what store did you buy them at I've tried home Depot and Lowe's
Great video! Do you know if your product will work with the Hobie Heavy Duty plug-in cart?
Yes all of the Hobie plug in carts use the same frame regardless of tire style .

That is a big no way. Never use scupper holes for kayak carts. Sorry dude.
