I love what you share , Helen! Korean food is so delicious and such a sensory delight... Thank you so much for making these dishes so doable and part of my life ... ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻
@ModernPepper I made some homemade chicken noodles soup 2 days ago and got my ingredients from H-Mart. I also bought a container of kimchi just to snack on( I was thinking about your recipe). I put a couple of pieces in my soup & gave it a try & lost my mind. I put the remaining Kimchi in & gave it a whirl....OMG!!! I am now hooked on Spicy chicken noodle kimchi soup.
I love your new tasting video format!!! Very professional. "Mini Helen" in the foreground & whatever you are tasting as a backdrop. I've noticed it in your past couple of videos. Very nice.
Yes! U can use a spoon, but I prefer not to since it creates bruises on the firm part of the cucumber. I prefer a clear cut using a knife. BUT do use a spoon, if that is ur preferred method🙏
Sugar does not cause diabetes. I have type 2 & have a genetic predisposition to diabetes. My thin grandfather who worked hard & ate well went into a coma when he went to sleep & opened his eyes to his legs amputated. BTW, I am 66 about the same age my grandfather went into his coma. ALL his 7 children had diabetes & so do his grandchildren.
@@seriouslyjoking2 Sugar DOES cause diabetes, and obesity and high blood pressure and many other health issues.. Sugar is known as a toxic substance. But I worked into the chocolate and confectionery industry, so...

This was really good. I added one whole Thai chile and the cucumbers were not too hot, just had a bit of a kick to them. Definitely a keeper!

So use a spoon!
And sugar again! I don't think I've ever seen a Korean recipe without sugar! I wonder what's the diabetes incidence in Korea?
