    As a bootcamp developer in training, this is really inspiring! There's no feeling like seeing a POST function successfully add an entry to a database haha.
    I'm currently working on a portal that cybersecurity firms can use to collaborate with external clients during an incident. Many incidents I've been in, everything was collaborated via email. When there are multiple lines of work and multiple internal and external teams, things can get confusing. This would be a central place where you can get the latest on what's happening, next actions, and upcoming meetings.

    How will deploy your database? I saw in the video that you use a postgres docker setup. Where will you host that on production? I'm building a saas platform and struggling with the database setup. I know it will be a sql database, but not sure yet which one. Options are Supabase(fav right now), Neon, Planet scale (kinda expensive) or a simple db server with postgres. Whats your advice? The rest of the stack is Sveltekit, tailwind etc hosted on vercel.

    hey i have one question. so in repobear i have to give you my private repo in your app and you will clone that in your database right? if i am wrong pls correct me i am developer and i want to learn how this work and if this work the way i explain above than i have one concern about your project. let's have a talk.

    • @JacobSucksAtCode
      @JacobSucksAtCode  6 месяцев назад

      Nope, I will not save to my database. There would simply be a one time clone per request to view a repository via share link. The backend would deicide whether the viewing user can view, clone or see absolutely nothing.
