- This is a tutorial of the tune ‘Mi Dieron La Clave’ as played by the incredible Canadian Tresero Jay Danley. The song is from his epic recording ‘Son así y Guaguancó’ released in 1999 with his group ‘Klave y Kongo’.

‘Mi Dieron La Clave’ is the first song.
Jay Danley tunes to standard C (GCE) so for the tutorial I am as well.
The string gauges I'm using are:
E course: .011 & .026
C course: .016 & .016
G course: .024 & .009
I transcribe all of the songs for my tutorials myself so I don't have the tablature for any of them.

Yes, thanks for your concern. I actually just started a coffee roasting company where I live in Nova Scotia, Canada and it's now taking up all of my time. Perhaps some day I'll get back to making Tres videos however for now the Roastery is my primary focus.
