And we're starting off our journey into Witcher universe with a crowning jewel of the series, 'The Path'. It's the last of Gavin's songs among inspired by Witcher games, and it immerses you in the story of the last big hunt of Geralt of Rivia. I love this one the most among them, there is just something about the contrast of the upbeat, rhytmic verses and a more melodic, melancholy, weary hook, it's beautiful. And yes, those drums are absolutely incredible Well, since we are here, let me list other songs inspired by Witcher series: 'Silver and Steel' - Witcher 2, 'Wake the White Wolf', 'Skellige Winds' and 'Lady of the Worlds' - Witcher 3. A bit aside from them is 'Another Round of Gwent' about the card game Gwent that you could play with other characters in Witcher 3, and later with other people in a standalone game 'Gwent'. Then there is 'Ploughing a Troll', a song about... exactly what it sounds like, a cautionary tale written in a style that would perfectly fit a tavern of the world of Witcher. And lastly the one you will probably appreciate the most, 'Lilac & Violet', a song about Yennefer, inspired by Witcher TV series. I might be wrong, but I believe that's the most songs he has written for a single universe Thank you for your continuing reactions to Miracle of Sound, Gavin deserves to be appreciated and I'm glad you like his creations as much as we do
Witcher III, Skyrim, Elden Ring, Dark Souls, Bloodborne. . . Miracle of Sound always paints the best pictures (verbaly) of any game you might imagine. I love this one too, as you can readily imagine. Even though it's been ages since I've seen the music video for it, it will always be part of what I deem 'The Witcher Experience' for me. It's actually a game I play on long drives on my own. Random Miracle of Souns songs playing, and I try to guess what games they are about (There are well over 200 songs on the list, but I've heard them so much that I more often than not get it right). Another you really should look into, are his God of War songs. Especially the one named 'To be Better'. But since it is the newest one, and stands in contrast to the earlier one, then 'Ode to Fury' are the best place to start those. Even though 'To be Better' nearly always brings a tear to my eye in the best of ways.
This song is actually the last in a trilogy; Wake the White Wolf and Lady of Worlds came first, and some of their motifs come up here (mostly towards the end). They vaguely cover the story of The Witcher 3; this one's about the final expansion/epilogue, and is kind of a send-off for the games.
Oh are we finally pushing into Witcher territory? Because I'm 100% here for it The TV show isn't really the series at its best, so glad to show you more
Editor Hubby used the show to pull me in. I am in no way a gamer, I passively watch while doing my own thing, and he hadn't played this for me yet so it was the bait and I have to admit I'm hooked.

Will be posting the other 2 soon! I didn't realize I watched them out of order that was my bad.
@@angeltalion It's all good. I think they each stand up on their own merits anyway.
