My lesbian friends and I always joke that people think being a lesbian means not having eyes, as if we can't tell what looks good, when gay men are never questioned for calling a woman beautiful.
It isn't really any different than straight people who can tell who's attractive of their own sex. Though people might expect lesbians to have issues with men as a barrier to that. But the same thing can happen if you're straight there as well. I only get what women find attractive in guys like half the time.

Her reasoning was that her mom did all of those things and she didn't want to end up like her mom, which is fine I guess but idk what that had to do with me wanting to kick back and smoke a bowl every once in awhile.
I can understand to some extent. Had a parent smoke cigs when I grew up (and poorly tried to hide it) so now it's just a huge turn off when people my age smoke, like they lose massive respect. I think most people generally feel the same about cigs though, it's nasty. Weed is definitely a weird one to get caught up on.
