I must thank you for your advise cause I decided to go with PLM full catted down pipes and so far i haven’t any kind off issues with the turbos side off that I daily drive my q50 then again thank you so much for your time to explain every little detail for the community good vibes bro!🔥🔥🔥
Yo I like how you give so much detail. I wouldn’t call myself a car guy but I know my stuff. I’m learning new stuff from you man keep going in depth bro.
Would you say the full catted down pipes are more effective with cleaning than stock cats with emissions? Thinking about installing ams down pipes with gesi cat, and wondering if it will pick up the load of the upper cat since that will be removed and still run clean (for the earth ) lol
I'm not sure if you have done a video before. I'm new to the channel but can you do a video for mods/precautions for people who own a 3.0tt in places that gets super hot in the summer like AZ?
Yo @boostinmotion really appreciate your videos, always informative and inspired me to save up and start upgrading. I ordered the CBE and full catted down pipes from FI. They should be here in a couple weeks and really want to tackle the install myself. I cant find any vids on a full downpipe install on a Q50. Do you know where any vids might be or good reference? Maybe you can throw in ur whip and do an install video?! Thanks! (i know there is the install guide I will get, but sometimes those just dont cut it)
If you going to do all of that, you should just buy and install the b.o.vs as well. Therefore you not just solely relying on those wastegates. Also not beating on your car everyday will go a long way im sure. If you going to go in, go all the way in dont half ass it. Enjoyed the video as always.
Pronounced cat-a-ly-tic or cat·a·lyt·ic...special rare metals that get really hot and make for a chemical reaction converting the dirty air from the engine to cleaner air out the exhaust. Here in Texas they test for this and if you don't pass then no sticker for you. Downpipes are not something you want to change out every time for inspection sticker. Just like tinted windows, a test to see if you pass.
I'm a Fast Intentions fan boy. FYI their catted full DP gets a tad more power than their no-catted full DP. Big deal is catted DPs are 49 state CARB legal. Re cell count. You have to factor in the diameter of the cat. If the 800 cell cat is larger diameter it may flow as well or better. The cat volume also acts like an expansion chamber like on a dirt bike exhaust. Just factors to look at. Hey if FI gets more power than the non catted pipe it must flow very well. 😉
Catalytic, not catalystic! You've been corrected before. Come on man. Even in black and white on the bulleted list from AMS you provided, it states catalytic. Also, FYI: Other than that, not Otherwise than that. ;)

Hey I got a question I live in California and I was wondering if there is any downpipes that will pass smog in California?

Scott Kussmaul did you get Check engine light or are you tuned ?
So you do not recommend Megan Exhaust down pipes?
Do you know if Meagan Racing Down pipes are any good?
yes ruclips.net/video/RXYs3vsQvOY/видео.html
What the fuck is a catalistic converter?

Never skimp on engine parts. Budget for what you ste doing... Z1, AMS, are the guys that seem to be meticulous about their products.
