Another non-diabetic here who just loves your personality! I do have some T1D friends though!
Same. Once we were in the middle of our musical and my friend was low right before she was supposed to go on so she drank some juice and made it on SECONDS before it was too late. Luckily. lol
Yup
Same
Same. I was surprised that I wasn't the only one

As a recently diagnosed person, I was super upset about my whole situation. Then I found your videos and it has made my journey so much easier. Keep being awesome, thankyou for your content ❤
I quit my my job as an RN last two years ago after almost 16 years in the field. It was not an easy decision, but life is too short to dread going to work everyday. No amount of money can buy real happiness, but friends I'm not asking you to resign from your job or abandon your business but be wise!
I don't really like my job but I love what it provides for me and my family. The pandemic has people rethinking working
What do you do now and how did you plan yourself before quitting?
right now I run my own business and While I was still in service l planned towards early retirement, making about 2k weekly from my retirement inve stment p0rtfolio trying so much to build more side hustles and extra inc0me
@Barbra & anderson wow impressive! You're making quite a fortune speaking of !nvesting I have heard about this but I don't really know how to start and make a good inve stment. please can you explain?
@Barbra & anderson Thank you for sharing your thoughts, I so agree with you! I just started a new nursing job and I'm already just tired of it. Thanks for bravely being honest and kindly telling us to be wise too!
🎉I'm so happy for you!
As a nurse, I love your content. I have 2 cousins that are type 1 diabetics and I have watched both of them be irresponsible in managing their diabetes . One has had a kidney transplant in her 20's and is blind now. The other had to have a hysterectomy after a bad birthing experience and DKA. But you asked about high blood sugars ...
I had a patient come into the ER 20 years ago, who was pregnant but feeling really bad. Vitals were horrible, she was lethargic , but she actually walked in thru the doors. No history of diabetes but we checked her blood glucose anyway. We kept getting a strange error code on the glucometer, so we sent some blood to the lab for confirmation. Lab reading came back as greater than 800. Sent another sample to a much bigger hospital for analysis and it was determined to be in the 3600 range. You read that right... 3600's. Basically the baby was getting all the sugar etc and that allowed her to get such readings. The baby ended up passing away and we nearly lost mom a few times, but she came back the next year and delivered a healthy baby with no diabetic complications.
I didn't even know blood sugars could get that high without killing someone immediately. But I'll never forget it. And I hope to never see a blood glucose that high again in entire life.
Your videos have been so helpful to educate me in a funny yet great way about type one diabetes. It has also shown how horrible it is. I am so happy for you and hope that you love the new place! Enjoy life while it lasts!
So happy to see content creators with T1D, representation is so great!
So happy you were able to follow your dreams.
So happy for you! And so very happy that your content can now allow you to quit your job and be a full time content creator! I am sure that will help with your health as well. Lovely new apartment as well. All the best.
congratulations on the move. Looks so much brighter than the old place.
That’s such a amazing achievement, even though it must be hard. Congratulations!

💛
First and soooo happy for you with these huge changes 🎉🎉
Moved and quit your job couldn’t think of a better way to spend 2023
Congratulations!! I love your videos and can't wait to see more of them :) my highest blood sugar was when I was diagnosed and it was 50 (900) and I felt like garbage but the emergency room attendant was rude basically asked why I was even there because I didn't outwardly look like I was having an emergency 🙄
I’m so happy for you I love your apartment
44.4 holy smokes! So glad you are ok, and that you got them down. Very scary. ❤️
I’m so happy for Mary!! ❤ I’m so proud of youu, thanks for bringing us on your journey!❤

Congrats on quitting your job! I'm a T2 diabetic and your channel has been educational and funny ❤
Im so happy for you
That's looks great 🎉🎉🎉
Congrats! Love your channel and can' t for future adventures. P.S. your dog is the cutest.
Hoo I am so happy for you I love your apartment ❤
Hi Mary cant wait to see more content so so happy for you 😊❤❤
Have the same one! It’s good for road trips.
So I am a diabetic just like you, and I have so scared ever since the 26th of November.[The day I was diagnosed] It was just...so...scary. it was rumored my BG[Blood glucose] was over 1000! Congrats on quiting your job!
Holy crap that’s terrifying! Honestly you’re so lucky to be alive, I was 700 at diagnosis and I felt like I got hit by a bus… welcome to this shitty club tho, the thing that makes diabetes easier over time is figuring out that there’s tons of us out there. Us diabetics seem to find each other without trying.
Congrats I wish u luck!!
Dang hope your doing well!
I'm so happy for you! More vids will be awesome. You are growing!
Tell us about the 44.4 day... that must have REEEEEALLY SUKD❣️🕊🙏💞🫂
When I was in the fourth grade I was in the same class as a type 1 diabetic he missed a lot of school because he just gotten diagnosed with diabetes it seemed scary for him so I’m glad that you doing good:)
I love watching ur vids even tho I am not a T1D but I do have a T1D friend and because of you I would be able to save her life ❤❤❤❤
I'm a non-diabetic, however my dad is one and I have been curious about yours. I've started to look into the Dexcom, because you make it look so simple. My dad does take the insulin injection before he goes to bed and doesn't talk about what he's feeling when he's experiencing high or low blood sugar, though he's actually really good when it comes to his sugar... I think... Mom makes sure he takes care of himself. Anyway I love watching your videos and very much good luck with the new house, it looks really nice. Also the mini fridge is too cute
OMG Mary. I love you so much. You are literally one of the sweetest girls I have ever met. So full of joy and happiness.Lots of love.xx You were also an amazing and hardworking coworker.
Hate the highs - it takes FOREVER to come back down and I am, unfortunately, the queen of rage bolusing! 😅
Congratulations on your new place and new direction in life!!!
I like the apartment it’s cute!!
Nice place congrats on the move
My highest blood sugar was almost 900. I had been sick for a week and hadn't eaten anything. When I finally ate a peanut butter sandwich it made me sick and I couldn't stop throwing up. Ambulance came and I woke up under a heat air blanket. I was in the ICU for 3 days. Throwing up had torn up chunks in the inside of my esophagus making it hard and painful to swallow anything for the next month.
😂😂😂 she's amazing im so happy for you. I dont feel any different and been tested i dont have symptoms for low but i get headaches for high😅😅
Hi Mary ive just started watching your videos im Also got type 1 diabetes your absolutely hilarious love the videos ❤
Seeing how awful you felt with the high BG made me so sad. My T1 kid can feel the lows but can’t describe the highs. You were noticeably affected, ugh. 😢 I’m glad you got it to come down!
I have Type 2 Diabetes and I love watching your channel. You've led me to the Contour Next that I use and I am going to get on the Dexcom G7. Thank you for all your wonderful information.
hey i just saw a video with the dexcom g7 out!!
I just looked up what a 44.4 blood sugar was, Holy Crap!! Type 2 diabetic here, from a long line of diabetics. My highest has been 320 so about 18ish if the chart is right. Love watching your videos! Thanks for spreading awareness and making it fun to watch.
You go girl 🤍
So excited for more content! Your new place looks amazing 🥳
Can't wait for more longer videos to come out! Woo! I'm happy for you!
Hey. Love your content. However, I thought it would be good if you reviewed some diabetic gadgets. I’ve just ordered a Chinese non-invasive blood sugar watch to compare it with my standard testing. Just a thought.
My highest blood sugar was 515. This is when I was first diagnosed after my father's passing on March 23, 2019. I thought I was dehydrated and went to the hospital to get some fluids. They ended up keeping me for 10 days because I was in renal failure. The doctor told me Ma'am we could send you home but 2 things will happen. Either coma due to your blood sugar or heart attack due to your potassium levels. Imagine being diagnosed and on your death bad at the same time. I made it. I'm maintaining. Glad to have found your channel.
At first I thought you said 5.15 and I was so confused then I realized you measured it the American way😂
@@justinupdike3796 sorry
You brighten my day every day
Congrats on the new place!! 👏
I am so happy for you. It's a different kind of job and a different kind of hard.
Highest blood sugar I have ever had was 12.9 it's only happened once usually a high is 11.7 which doesn't happen often, but my Dr has pushed metformin and now since I have said no so much to metformin now she's been pushing ozempic. I got my A1C down to 6.3 and she's still trying to push meds.
Because your A1c is still high.
Congratulations on your new journey 🎉❤
I don't have DM, but I love watching your videos! Your personality is so great and I have learned so much from watching! :)
I watch you coz my daughter is T1D. Her highest was a 31.1 when she was diagnosed!
Current blood sugar 243 and dropping. High blood sugar sucks. No energy. Low blood sugar I get hyper as heck 😂
That makes no sense, you’d think it’d be the other way around lol
No offence blood sugars, but if you can go high quuckly we'd appreciate it if you could also come down in a timely manner. I got up to 22 the other day before i realised something was wrong, ruined my whole day
I have a little fridge like that too. I keep my iced coffee in it and my husband stocks my favorite chocolate it.
the dog looked so confused at the special feature of the coffee table 😂
My highest blood sugar was 800 that was win I was diagnosed (in America we don't use that type of system to tell what my blood sugar is sorry if anyonegetsconfused)
Subscribed. You are fun and real and i enjoy
Mam your highest was 800 😮 I’m glad your okay
Congrats! My highest blood sugar was also around 44 and the doctors said that their meters only can read up to 42 so yeah…we broke the system😂
My niece is diabetic and she doesn't manage it well. She recently got out of the hospital from an extreme high. It was over 1000 (not sure what that would be with your system).
I love your videos and tiktok video x
Keep up the amazing work you are my fav RUclipsr and I love your content but I can’t go on tick tock (I don’t know how to spell it ha!) cause my parents won’t let me I’m probably one of your youngest viewers and so please can you post more content on RUclips cause whenever my subscription thing has the dot by it I get so excited and hope it’s you anyway love have a good life❤❤❤❤
Sorry I meant to have a *You* in between the love and the have
I hate low sugar sweats when I'm cold mentally it's really confusing. I'm really happy that I now have a Dexcom g6.
Highest BSL iv had is 22 😣 I was really sick and not on insulin at the time (I’m technically a T2 but my endo thinks I may actually have been misdiagnosed and am actually T1) I’m on insulin now and when I’m high i rarely go above 17 (I know that’s high but it doesn’t happen often)
Another non-diabetic here, I just love your personality.
You have to stop being so adorable
My highest was when I was diagnosed and when I went to the hospital it was 36!
I'm sure you felt horrible. I hope you never get that high ever again.
my dads a type 2 diabetic and my parents a while ago told me my mom who is a nurse found my dad on the floor thinks he is sleeping and turns out he fainted like mom arent you a nurse but love how positive you are even in stressful situations
Mary Comeau, you go though!
congratulations 🎉!! I hope everything goes well for you! Also the highest blood sugar I had I think was 447/24.8 (This is what my Calculator is saying so sorry if I’m wrong)
I became a diabetic 3 days after my 30th birthday March 23 2019 and y highest blood sugar has been over 1900
I love you
Hello
The videos have stopped, everything okay
My highest has been 34 .I can't get it under control
omgggg i just remembered who u look like u look like Maxine from Ginny and Georgia
The highest I've been, not counting diagnosis sugar, was around 600. Everything around me felt animated and so weird and off. I hate highs. I'm currently low as I'm typing this lol
This was super recent but my highest was 524 cause I didn't have any insulin (or so I thought) but it did come down (thank god) after I found an insulin pen right where it should have been
I have type 2 diabetic
Hey
Which mini fridge is that i can never find one that small to hold my stuff
I need the link for that bed frame!!!
I do not know how to convert. So no clue what 44.4 is. Mine just reads HI sometimes.
