Wow...$20!!! That's awesome. I love this radio. I found an RF-2900 at a flea market a few years ago for FIVE BUCKS. The band selector switch was broken off, so it was stuck on one band until you opened it up and turned the shaft with pliers. It was definitely worth $5, though. 73, Tom
I had the Panasonic 2800 predecessor which has a red digital display that does not work on FM. The tuned frequency drifted over time and there were spurious signals, but it was nice for listening to shortwave broadcasts and the FM sensitivity was very good. The frequency calibration required tuning to a station with a known frequency, whereas another Panasonic of the same era, the RF 2200, had a built-in oscillator but no digital display.
What are the Replacement Bulbs for the Signal Strength Meter and the Band Dial ? I can find no info on the Bulb type and where to Order from. Thanks for any help.
Hi, I just sold a beautiful one like this on eBay. My customer likes it but says the antenna doesn't turn. It is the original antenna (almost Positive). Does your antenna turn all the way around?

Odd how the S-meter moves right to left. Normally they move left to right where left is 0 and right is strong signal
