It is nice to see a V/Line A class on a passenger train even on an N set for that matter. Hopefully one day they can double head passenger trains with N class loco's.
I got to drive one of these beautiful A class loco's to morwell with my uncle on a logging run. One of the best days I've had for sure! Saw a miniature railway one of A66 today and had a good chat to the guy towing it on his trailer, hence why im here now reminiscing.
Nice comprehensive coverage on an event that certainly doesn't happen too often.

I reckon a cab ride would be a highlight for me as well.
I like how Australia still uses bulldog nose locomotives. So much more elegant than F40PH and GE Genesis.
Yeah it’s really sad I was too young to ride on one, I’m pretty sure now they’re in long term storage (aka 95% doomed forever), idk.
Is Shepparton the NE line, I thought Wodonga was. Surely Shep. is a Northern Line?
Bendigo is the Northern Line. This branches of the North East Line so I'm not sure what you would call it. Goulburn Valley Line?
Nice job mate, thank you.
Thanks mate. Thanks for looking
It's back in the orange and grey livery now
Yes and very impressive aa well
Wish I saw more A66s than I see Eaglehawks in Craigieburn.
Very nice video! By the way.
Thanks. I've seen some other rail posts and it's commonly known as the Goulburn Valley Line.
