Watching your videos makes me wonder how difficult it must be for you to edit your videos. Because every frame that you shoot, each interaction that you have, even the basic of shots is so picturesque and interesting that to cut out any portion of your content to fit in an hour's time would require so much of deliberation. On that note, I'm routing for development but one that doesn't come at the cost of the rich cultural and ecological biodiversity of the places you have visited. Hoping against hope that the sanctity of these places remain intact for generations to come!
Thank you so very much for such a wonderful compliment, and for recognizing the immense time and effort that we put into our videos 🙏🙂 And yes, agreed. Development and access to the most basic of needs should reach all people, as long as their cultural and ecological treasures are kept intact.
You are so grateful, I perceived it why???Because as you quoted in your recent comment deemed by your concern on our ecological biodiversity you are very loving nature citizen. I'm from Philippines and at a young age I started to love the green scenery, kind people, fresh air, culture & old traditions that we have in the 70's, now half of it were gone due to industrialization. Nepaleses were blessed by this beautiful landscape, thanks God and bye. From: Philippines 🇵🇭 💖 💕
I did this trek back in 2013 for the first time , it was rugged and had all the beauty of the old world Nepal. Went back in 2019 and saw a massive shift in development and tourism. This is one classic trek and I hope they do not ruin it like they shortened the Annanpurna Circuit. Also enjoying all your videos.
I bet Tsum Valley was completely different back in 2013. Seems like the place is continuously changing, and even more so post COVID. Thank you for enjoying our work. Stay tuned for more! ♡
A beautifully presented Gurung culture, tradition and lifestyle. No one can deny that we Gurung are the indigenous people been living in the remote part of Nepal, but have the most rich culture & tradition in Nepal and preserved till the date. Proud Tamu.

I would love to see these places you visit. I think their land and way of life should not be touched, but also, the only way for 95 % of ppl couldn't do this without roads. So building a few very small roads could also help them make money buy selling things to tourists and it would make their way of life a Lil easier. These are places many would love to visit. I have so much respect for the elderly still caring loads on their back or forehead I only hope I can do half of that when I'm that age.
I watch as many traveling vlogs as I can. One good thing I noticed about your vlogs to other traveling vloggers is you guys choose the best weather season to travel. The weather sometimes fails the essence of the whole video. I think the weather condition is one of the crucial factors that travelers should consider before traveling. Hi, I met you guys in Bur Guesthouse, I miss Tsuvm Valley with my friends and was too sick to finish the Manaslu Circuit, like to catch up with your travel in Manaslu circuit. I’m now a follower of your travel journey. Interesting insights and life story of the mountain villages.
Hello there! We hope you made it home safe. Thank you for following our travel journeys. Visitors we met at 33:17 near Mu Gumpa, are they your friends?
I did this trek in 2021. Just want to give some suggestion to the travelers who want to do Manaslu circuit, don't miss Pork valley and Pungyen Monastery to trek - you will see absolute beauty of Manaslu from there. Pork valley is little out of the main travel map but you will never regret to trek in that valley - located at the top of the hill where surrounded by mountains and monastries.
Its Prog/Prok. May be auto-correct is to blame. Also, there is a lake called "Kaal Taal" which is a solid 3-4 hours from Prok. Beautiful hidden lake but the climb is all uphill, and you need to pack some snacks and even enough drinking water since there's nothing but nature up there.
Lovely Storytelling as usual. Really nice to see areas that are so remote and less visited. Probably the choice of music made the mood feel a tad more sombre this time- like watching a neo noir/art deco film. Ani Route=Root guys😉☺️. Looking forward to the next episodes.
Thank you so much! It's good to hear from you as always 🙂 Thanks for your feedback on how the choice of music on this worked out for you. Also, I might be wrong on this one, but I believe the pronunciation we used for route is the American pronunciation while the one you suggested is the British pronunciation. Anyways, we really appreciate your support as always 🙏🙂
Just for the friendly suggestion. It will be very helpful if you can show on the map where Tsum Valley is located. And when you say you are breaking from Popular Manaslu Circuit path to go to Tsum Valley, it will help us by showing that particular arear in map from where you separate from Manaslu Circuit path to the path leading to Tsum Valley
If you doing larke pass. Stay in Bimthang, Apple Garden hotel and Restaurant welcomes you. Then go to pongar tal. One of the most beautiful lake in the himalayas. About Bimthang, It used to be the place for the bater system where, people from Lamjung and Kaski used to bring rice and trade salt with the chinese people. There is also a Milaraba cave too. Enjoy.
Yes, Bhimtang is such a beautiful place. We spent the night there after crossing the pass. You can catch some glimpses of it in our latest larke pass video. And thanks for sharing the info about Bhimtang, next time we are there we will surely drop by Apple Garden Hotel
