Unmatched, unparalleled, amazing, talented beyond words - Kala Ramnath ji ! What a performance! Takes the listener into another world. Masterful violin virtuoso.
I'll second the above comment and add that she is perfection!!!
Kalaji takes us to a higher realm of consciousness! Great tabla by Pt Yogeshji!
Great V. Player in the Horizon. Bless you dear LongLive. Kala ji waah
Astounding performance.
Hypnotizing music. She does it with such poise and the occasional seductive smile.
Wah! Zabardast! Kya baat hai! One wishes it should never have ended......but such is life....all good things come to an end.... leaving behind everlasting memories and desires for something more from the same fountain!!! May both of them, Kalla and Yogesh, continue to enchant till everything ends!!!!
Divine. Rageshwari in all its splendour. And add to it Pandit Yogeshji's Accompaniment. 👌👆🙏
The concert started as an usual rendition but ends with an ecstatic elongated drut. Truly historic. Both Pundits have given their best. Thx for sharing.
Marvelous performance by both the mistroes
DIVINE DIVINE DIVINE
Divine, divine, divine!!!
Swara for Raag Rageshwari > Sa Ga ma Dha ni Sa > Sa ni Dha ma Ga ma Re Sa.< It doesn't really sum up the intricacies of this Raag, but it might help some people who are interested.
Simply marvellous. Kalaji is unique and unmatched. Thanks to the accompanying artist, pt.Jogeshji for beautiful support. Wonderful.
Amazing thank you 🙏🙏🙏
Pay careful attention at 33:40 and you will hear Philip Glass meets J.S Bach. Indian Classical has everything in it but many miss because it just flows from one to another so freely.
Nothing about that !!! just North Indian Classical music ...
Simply love your music, Akka...🕉️🌟👍
Heart touching notes of my guru.
बहुत सुंदर जुगलबंदी.......बधाई
A MESMERISING CONCERT BY BOTH LEGENDS OF INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC. JUST AWESOME PERFORMANCE.

True

Mesmarizing....
Just awesome, touched my soul
अतुलनीय
beautiful
This is an example of Indian classical music can be so mesmerizing with just 2 masters. You don't need a whole orchestra with an over reacting conductor.
Her view and acceptance of global classical approaches in her playing is wonderful to witness. She embraces European/U.States breezes into her meditation, and does a wonderful job of staying in the Indian-view taan. So finely tuned. Good players of all classical styles meet in the same place - om nada brahma. :)
True, but watching a world class symphony - 30 people or so on the same meditation points, and playing in tandem... when it's good, and one understands the approach and how it differs from India's style, one sees the dharmic strengths in each approach. It's a wonderful understanding...
I agree
You don't need to belittle one art form to appreciate the other. The intimacy of Pandit Banerjee's Rageshree and the grandeur of Beethoven's Fifth are equally precious experiences for me.
very nice .
Divine music! 🙏🙏
Nice tune, great

He is the top disciple (after Ustad Zamrik Hussain) of Ustad Alla Rakha

She has left her aunt smt M Rajam behind
Nope, just a different technique.
But the "Bhaav" part in Dr. Rajam's music is immense, whereas Kala ji holds mastery in technicalities.
She is definitely far superior to her aunt...Pandit Jasraj ji ki jai ho...🕉️🕉️
@@udupisharada7558 I disagree.
Thanks for your comment.
Sath hi Jai ho Pt. Omkarnath Thakur ki bhi😊
She's no Heifetz thats for sure !
What to sayexcellent performance rajeshwsri raagas melodious composn n nice tabla of shumdijis marvellous rhythm
No, she is not! She stands on her own rights. I am sure Mr. H. will stand aside to make room for her by him.
I don’t understand the need to compare anyway , both are legendary in their fields Mr.Spock
And Jascha Heifetz is no Kala Ramnath that's even more sure. Don't compare Western Violinists with Indian. It's like comparing a Pineapples with Mangoes. A painter is not qualified to judge the performance of a sculptor using the rules of painting. Western musicians cannot pass judgement on non western music using the rules of Western music. Jascha Heifetz has zero understanding of 2000 or more Ragas with 72 scales with all the nuances of how to render them. Neither would he know of the 100+ tabla rythmic cycles and be able to fit his melody into those cycles while composing the melodic patterns extempore completely without any rehearsal or notation while staying within the rules of the Raga. Neither would Jascha Heifetz know of the 22 microtone scales of Indian music that harmonize with the drone (instead of the Western 12 note equal tempered scale). Neither do I see Jascha Heifetz play any extensive slides between and across notes. All his music has separate plain individual notes which is boring from the Indian musical perspective because a lot of emotion is created with the slides (portmento) . Also, Kala can play very quick scales, where each note in the scale is a portmento combination of two or more notes (if you had the ability to hear it). Since Jascha Heifetz doesn't do that he evidently is not practiced at it and could never compete with Kala if he had to do quick and prolonged melodic patterns where each note is really a cluster of portmento notes (again Westerners have to have the ability to hear it before they even know what is being played). Sorry but your comment is typical of smug Western judgement based on ignorance of other forms of non Western art.
@@pilloobaba272 I don't know why western classical violin lovers cannot accomplish Indian classical violin lovers ? I have also seen some videos where they are criticizing Indian classical violin players !!!
Kalaramnath জীর কাছে একটু শিখতে চাই? কি করতে হবে।
