Mike is 56-years-old from Wales dubbed as the most fertile man in Britain who has fathered more than 40 children he can't name half of them and has a family tree tattoo to help him remember.

As a father myself of a beautiful daughter. It's wrong what they are playing at. A father role in a childs life is so important. Getting women pregnant and not supporting your kids does not make you a real father any fool can do that and its nothing to be proud of. A father supports his kids emotionally and financially and be always their for them. That's what a real father does.

That's absolutely true, but women will always have more pressure on us in society because we are the ones that give birth to these unwanted children (unwanted by the parents, not society). Women have always been sexually selective from the dawn of time for this reason... for so long, we also had a 50-50% chance to even survive childbirth! Just because we have better medical assistance and deaths by childbirth are lower doesn't suddenly mean women should lower their standards and sleep with any old person. I think the men and women are equally to blame. I feel terrible for these kids.

I knew a neighbor of mine that always had a or a few women in his life. 10 kids. However these women all claimed he was the father and he never asked for paternity tests. His response was, "all kids deserve a father and I'm their father." And he got along well with the mothers. He cared for the children as well as even working on cars he was gifting the eldests.

Regarding Mike, how did he become a single father? Who gave him their kids to raise? He was an alcoholic and the kids he was 'raising' went into Care. Buying a football for a grown son cannot make up for anything his dad did, he has NOTHING to offer them. A heart attack at 56 wasn't enough of a wakeup call.

He probably became a single father because the women are probably a lot worse than him. Courts usually give custody to mothers, something has to be seriously wrong with them for him to get custody.

I guess a vasectomy never occurred to any of the men. Does the British government not go after fathers for child support? In the US you still have to pay even if you’re unemployed, and if you are in arrears you lose your license and you have to pay interest. I worked with a guy who had the state his kids grew up in come after him because they were receiving benefits, the oldest was 27 and he had to pay 35% of his before tax earnings until the $175k is paid off.

I consider it a crime against the children because I had a father who thought he was God's gift to women, but didn't pay a dime for any of us, just promises that we're never filled. This man is a shame to all of mankind. Is pure selfishness to only want to fulfill one sexual gravification. Men like these should be jailed especially if they are not paying for their children or are not a part of their life leaving them fatherless there they carry a name only. I have remained single because I do not want to do this to any woman. The shame is to the children and it's not even their fault. This is purely selfish for the sake of cracking a nut..... May God judge them all.

I can see where these kids are coming from in not wanting to talk to to their bio dad. My own father has seven kids, I think and I am one of maybe two that talk to him. One of my full brothers does not talk to him. As a father he failed early in all of our lives. My half siblings went through the same thing. He has most definitely changed and has been married to my step mom longer than any other marriage. He no longer drinks and has stayed out of trouble. So I talk to him.
But my step father has been in my life since I was three and has been more of a father.
