The 1:43 scale Hot Wheels offer very good value for this scale and level of detail. The quality is on par with IXO, Solido and other brands and the price is similar. Actually compared with most other 1:43 brands, HW has metal base rather than plastic. In 1:43 scale, prices for collectors grade models start at around $20 and go all the way to +$300. HW knows what it’s doing and the selection of models is great - there is no Lamborghini LPI or C8 Corvette Z06 in this scale from other brands and in this price range and quality. The closest 2022 Countach is from Looksmart and costs around $130.
I like them, don’t get me wrong, but it was hard to fork out $50 for 2 cars.
@@huntinghotwheelsinternatio9594 understandable if you’re used to 1:64 scale, but not surprising for 1:43 scale collectors. In fact, I am pleasantly surprised that they could keep the price below $30.
Wait till you see the next wave’s of the 1:43 scale….jeep mustang & you know it R34 😏😏
I’ll definitely want the mustang
Really don't know how to feel about the 1/43 cars. I like they're more detailed but definitely not $25
I’ve been seeing them warming pegs at a lot of targets
Absolutely. Auto World, M2, Mini GT,.........all are superior 1/64 offerings.
$25? That’s a bargain compared to some higher quality 1/43 scale cars like Solido, Minichamps and Spark
@@Trija204these two models are on par, quality wise, with Solido and Minichamps and at similar price as Solido and considerably cheaper than Minichamps.
@@Jedimaster36091 well said.
I found the new HW 1/43 cars & picked up a set. They are sealed with tape, so someone must have cut that 1 to check it out. They're expensive, but very detailed & 1st Editions!
The 1:43 cars are cool, but the price point is way off. Maybe if they were $14.99....but not $25 each. Idk, they just don't have the charm that the 1:64 scale mainlines do...
Yeah, it’ll be tough for me to keep paying that price
Awsome stuff friend, 1/43 ⚖ pass 😂 to rich for my blood. You get get like 8 of them kinsmart cars with opening doors.
I hear you, it was hard for me even
What about the cars stashed on the shelf above the hot wheels? Those were probably all the good ones that sales employee statshed earlier.
9 times out of 10 I remember to look up there.
I just got home from work and I have a ton to do. But watching this video is a bit more important 😅🔥
Thanks man, I try and make them not to long and not to short
Can you go to blue springs, MO? I rarely get to go target and Walmart and it would be nice if you could make a couple videos on going there. Thanks!
Actually, I’ll be in Missouri at the end of the month. So it’s possible.
Alright nice!
Great video Chris, came across the Supra Stu and the regular th this morning!!😎✌️
Nice! It’s a great one to have!
I also kept my receipt for those 1:43 cars . Lol . That m2 funny car I found the chase !!!
Nice, I ended up trading for the chase while I was at the legends tour in Houston
I thought about getting those 1/43 scales but for that price ehh I don't know kinda pricy😬 Hoping to find the M2 chase in the Challenger funny car.
Yeah, they need to drop that price to about $19.99
Dude that VW kombi was awesome 👏 where you able to record more of the VW’s content for further videos??
Yeah, one more for tomorrow
Awesome! thanks Chris
The only one that catches my attention is the c8 since I'm a diehard c8 fan
I hear you, I always grab the Lamborghinis
Not takin the bait on those 1/43. For that price IMO you get better detail in 1/64 from Tarmac Works, Pop Race, etc. Plus, that scale is pussifooting--IF you're gonna go bigger, the detail should be worth the changes to your storage and display setup. That's why 1/24, 1/18 are more popular
I may get a few more, but I’ll be a lot more selective
I might have to get a few of these 143’s to turn into slot cars
They’re not to heavy for that
I love the bugs and the micro buses 👍👍
Yeah, this is a cool shop
I like the new 1/43 scale hot wheels. They are a nich collectible. Not for everyone, but I collect those two castings usually in 1/64. I ordered mine with my Target Red Card for the discount. Should be at the front door soon!
Very cool hunting chris
Thanks Rod!
Ouch ! can you say peg warmer at $25 i know some collctors will buy the 1st ones only because its 1st set.
They’re going to have to release a car I really, really like in that 1:43 scale for me to plop down $25.
Exactly!
Custom Mustang is going to be sweet!
Yeah I found both cars the other day no price tag...go to check myself out and left both cars at the store..25 buxs for one car no open door or hood. NO THANK YOU HOT WHEELS
The moving parts aren’t so important to me because I’ll never open them, but I see your point
Hey chris ! You wouldnt belive me but i found a WHITE LIGHTNING PLANE CHASE AND THE FUNNY CAR CHASE AS WELL AND I WANT TO TRADE with you !!!! ⚠️⚠️⚠️
I’d love the plane ✈️, what are you looking for? Email me hunting.hw.int@gmail.com
What do you want for the mercs btw?
You know me… a Mad Propz will do nicely
If those Hws in Walmart are from the big dump bin, then there are 6 other cases in the back. I found 1 super in 9 cases that come in the big dump bin. And I think we found fewer of the regular ths than cases as well. You might wan to ask the toy worker about letting you check out the rest of those cases. The chase in the challenger m2 has red wheels and trim. Found that the same day i found the super supra.
I assumed as much, but I don’t have good luck at that Walmart. I’ve never found a super there, only chases. Stuff that certain people don’t know about.
What if hotwheels makes 1:18? I think the end is near for them
Lol, I’ve been seeing the 1:43 warming the pegs. They’re pricey 💲
I need that Tie Fighter variant. All we get in my area is Razor Crest variants.
Oh… so it gets switched up from place to place.
They need to bring back the old castings
Which ones in particular?
The 43’s are a 50-50. Their prices will either go down or In a couple of years be worth as much as hot wheels sweet 16’s. Personally I don’t think this line along with the elite 64 lasting more than a couple years.
That’s one reason why I got the number one and two car…
I ain't got no mad propz tho it's the only TH I don't have this year
Any Zamacs?
I think these could be successful if marketed properly.
I understand the cost of developing and casting.
Vintage Legends, Race Day, a Goodwood FOS line up?
Drag Strip Demons?
I would definitely buy every offering of any of these titles.
You think they’ll commercials for them, or RUclips spots?
@@huntinghotwheelsinternatio9594 Adult collectors. Car show attendees and the like. Great video btw.
The only car I would buy in 1;43 scale is a Koenigsegg, Pagani or a Buggati
I’m sure they will be coming out soon.
Wow, that's a lot of money!
I'm sure that collectors, will reconsider, what they really want in their collection.
Maybe, stop picking up mainlines, or complete series..... 🤷♂️
Just this once haha, famous last words
Lol, I know right…. Lol 😂
One potential plus side of the ~$25 U.S. price point for the 1/43 scale cars is that there's much less of an excuse for Mattel not sublicensing a Ferrari or two from current Ferrari rights holders May Cheong Group (Maisto/Bburago). I can see a Ferrari sublicense being too expensive for mainlines or regular retail premiums, which is probably why Mattel hasn't pursued the sublicensing option for Ferrari in the 8 years since they lost the master Ferrari diecast license to MCG, but it should be much more swallowable at $25 U.S.
I was thinking the same thing, when will they license the Ferrari again for this…
careful with your abbreviations, MCG is another brand that makes sealed 1/18 diecast haha but they also have the ferrari license for some strange reason
@@ImperialDiecast It's the abbreviation that Tomica uses on their Ferrari chassis about the sublicense from May Cheong Group, or at least it was on the two Tomica Ferrari samples I have.
Definitely passing on the 1/43 there just doesn't seem to be much value there unless someone really likes that car. I believe there might be a 1/43 r34 that is supposed to come out so i will pick that up if i see it.
Yeah, that will be cool
Damn could you grab me that 454 OBS M2 truck I can't find it anywhere
I’ll check for it tomorrow, the packaging is a little beaten up that’s why it’s still here.
I am retired, and $50 for 2 cars is way more than I can afford. Maybe some of you guys have the funds.
I know man, it’s a ton for just two cars. This won’t be an every release thing for me. Maybe just one or two more this year.
how much is that $6 dollars goes back to $25
Not into the 1/43rds
I like them only because I can hang them
Dude, you turn diecast hunting into a social event
I do like to talk to the people
how much was one of the 1/43 scale
25 😬
Way too expensive 1/43. Price is more than 1/24.
Yeah, I won’t be getting to many more, the mustang for sure.
Fortnite
Go with new cars that yellow and white Lamborghinis those are ugly as sin
Those
I really want to see the mustang next..
