    • @paulcoonce2493
      @paulcoonce2493 3 месяца назад

      Exactly why I don't invest in Boeing. Tear jerking lawyers that soak investors of their money. The company has its flaws; I agree. Decimating a huge part of society needs to be considered. Should we decimate the other companies that have issues? Look at VW. They don't even sell diesels in the US anymore. Lawyers are going to run us into the ground. This is why large companies have to retain a large number of lawyers. Keep going; you will see flight costs increase substantially.

    • @PorkChopAChunky
      @PorkChopAChunky 3 месяца назад

      No kidding. The problem is 99% of humanity is just as greedy. That's why no matter who is in charge, the story is the same. Trying to get rid of capitalism will only swap out the people abusing the power.

      The bigger issue that executive compensation is far removed from reality. It is ironic that Hawley is the one going after him but no CEO deserves that kind of money. Cap it at 40 times the wage of the lowest paid full time employee and sanity will return to board rooms. Now, that they paid Calhoun 32 million they have to pay the next guy more. Musk takes the cake of course. Compared to him, Calhoun makes peanuts.

    I myself would love to have a job like this CEO of Boeing hell he got a 35 million dollar job per year hell keep that up by the end of 2030 he should be making a hundred million dollars a year

    The CEO I must say comes across as genuine and professional.

    what pissed me off the most is that there should have been all the senators there to grill these people instead of 4 or 5 senators this is sick shows how much they care about life and the phone calls from the senator to the Boeing CEO should not be happening that also shows that some of these senators are on the side of the CEO so the ranking member should have never called him period this again shows that a heads up was given on what questions were going to be asked this is called a show face hearing that is what i think

      Doesn’t interest people like the flame-wars of politics. I find this pretty interesting.
