    I honestly was not expecting this style of tracking where speed 1 is used and every tick uses effects and volume instead of instruments envelopes.

  • @bryaneddy5272

    This could just as easily be a "good ending" BGM. It has that ragged yet optimistic tone to it. I love it

  • @MrPCSniperFi
    @MrPCSniperFi Год назад +10

    You know what this sounds like to me? Melodic rock in 8 bit style. And that's a dang good thing.

  • @blara2401
    @blara2401 6 лет назад +101

    "P nice" is nowhere close to what this is. I think it's been proven by now that no matter which chip you choose, you make the most of it. Thanks, once more, for the auditive gifts you constantly shower us in.

  • @krad2520
    @krad2520 2 года назад +14

    This is the platonic ideal of what a chiptune should be. The purest form. I don't think there's a higher praise I could give, and this track sincerely deserves it.

    Man I can’t help myself, I don’t know how many times I’ve listened to this. This song is just some special type of epic, I can’t believe it.

    Seriously man, this presents your mastery of the N163. Sounds like a goddamn excellent .mod, especially with the stereo mixing.

    • @SkyTheLeafeon
      @SkyTheLeafeon 5 лет назад +3

      Imagine converting the original version of the song into an Amiga .mod file.
      It's doable, is it not?

    • @20035079
      @20035079 4 года назад +7

      @@SkyTheLeafeon The .mod file format is limited to only 4 channels (from the 4 channels of the Amiga PAULA sound chip). This would be more doable in .xm/.it, I think.

    • @SkyTheLeafeon

      Can someone explain me what is a .XM file? I have never figured out what that is

    • @TastySnax12
      @TastySnax12 4 года назад +3

      @@SantiagoVa1entine It's a file type for FastTracker2 that stands for "extended module". It's really just a tracker module that's been in use for years.

    At first I wasn't expecting anything special about this... but then that flute-sounding instrument and the Namco 1 channel in the main part of the song.
    HOLY MOTHER OF-
    God how do I describe how much of a masterpiece this is...
    Just... GOOD JOB! Your covers are outstanding; I'm always looking forward to your next uploads.

    Went from a boulderdash random video to a random playlist of musics from The Last Ninja 2 (which I never knew and never played) to a random comment tagging a timer of a music that I typed on the youtube search bar because I seemed to like it to just end up here, absolute amazing how things can be discovered by simple random curiosity in this giant maze that is RUclips! ... I also do not know what's happening on the screen, well it seems to be kind of an old DAW ! All I can say, it's added to one of my playlists :D
