I love the thought of Thor being amused by Deadpool's antics and them legitimately becoming friends.
Yes but Deadpool kept asking about it and paradox kept hiding it like it was a big deal.
I really locked in on that scene, and I'm not sure how critical of a detail this is, but Thor did have two different color eyes when he was holding Deadpool. I thought at first it was an overlay from the dark world, but we know Thor gets the brown eye in Infinity War.
Thor also doesn’t have the metal things on his arms
They used the same scene from dark world but brightened the image and added a scar on thor's left eye. You can even see Tom Hiddleston's face outline when the focus is on Thor

I think that's just what would have happened if Deadpool actually accepted the deal. I think the reason for why Paradox tried to hide it was not because he was worried about the future or anything as we can see him being pretty immature on that, but it was only to make sure that Wade wouldn't decline the offer. This Thor does look like the old Thor plus the scar and brown eye from other movies, but I think it was just Hemsworth's Thor if Deadpool was there or something like that. Also, realistically, I can't see the MCU kill Deadpool for Secret Wars, too soon knowing that he's one of the main Marvel Franchises that makes the most money. Maybe he will die, but only when Ryan will get tired of playing the character and that there will be nothing else to see from the character.
It's a potential future throwaway joke that Deadpool focuses on because he's desperate to matter. It doesn't mean anything other than he's going to interact with the greater MCU in the future. It isn't implying that specific scenario will play out. It's just a funny image of Thor crying and cradling Deadpool.
Idk, he did choose to stay in his universe but the TVA also told him they weren’t done with him so it seems like they’re leaving it open for him to return
I doubt that he won't return. For plot purposes (Secret Wars) as well as profit, Marvel will for sure include Deadpool and alternate universe heroes that they've hinted at or included before (Wolverine, maybe the other Spider Mans, Blade, etc)
Which I think is a good idea provided the story is still somewhat consistent with greater continuity. If they avoid bad writing and characters that no one cares about (..America Chavez, Echo, Ironheart, She Hulk..) then I'm all for it.

He could be equally funny in a pg13 movie as someone here pointed out...him getting bleeped and becoming increasingly frustrated would be hilarious...most of the R rating is from the gratuitous violence.

Deadpool is not going to be in other MCU movies. He chose to stay in his universe. The Thor thing was just a running joke for the movie
Well I don't think it's a joke. It felt like something that's going to happen in the future. I mean Paradox wanted Deadpool out of his universe and in the new sacred timeline for a reason.

I’m not a super knowledgeable person with the comics, but can he actually die at all? Can this scene actually be the death of Deadpool? If he doesn’t die, die in the comics then yeah, Thor will cry, Deadpool will get a mega erection, and will be fine.

I’m speaking more from a screenwriting/filmmaking perspective. It’d be difficult to successfully work him into a larger narrative and have the stakes be real and important if DP is winking to the camera every scene, breaking the audience’s suspension of disbelief. It works in his own movies because that’s what the audience signed up for.
Pivot: why would anybody want Deadpool to show up in a PG13 movie. Just wouldn’t be fun
