The Diapsalmata is something I revisit frequently in my life. Many of the poems inside are pregnant with meaning and I can't help but feel despair when empathizing with his Truffle Pig or his ill-proportioned Kangaroo. What a blessing it is to forget the things we read in this section or we'd never move forward.
The pauses in your explanation give more meaning to your thoughts about the book. I really think so much similar to what Kierkegaard is trying to say through this book about the meaning of life, the external glory that we enjoy and the goals we achieve means so much less. I would definitely want to give it a read soon. Thank you so much for giving me the push to read this book.
Love your passion. Fear and trembling made a profound impact on me last year. I'm now working through the rest of his works and wish I had someone to have discussion with but your videos will do.
Looking forward to the review of other parts as well , I hope to see the reviews of all the books by Kierkegaard on this channel one day in detail if possible😊😊
Ahh.. yes I'll be reviewing the second chapter soon. We've talked about Kierkegaard's The Concept of Anxiety and The Sickness Unto Death as well. You can check them out too! The others will come for sure. :D
@@ReadADayClub Ah I was just about to comment asking an update on the next instalment on this book by Kierkegaard. Just like Krishnakant and others, I am eagerly awaiting the same

I have just started reading this book, very helpful thank you so much, I will let you know how I go. Are completing chapters 3 and 4 also? Great assessment. Thank you. Very profound I will take a sip of the bitter drink to life drop by drop in my moment of lucidity and consciousness. Us busy botchers he is right why are we busy with nothing. The 🔥 of life this reminds of the use and abuse of history by Nietzsche in the end he states life us for living. Thank you for your perspective on this very helpful as I move onto Platitudinous introduction…
Thank you so much. :) Yes of course I'll be completing the whole thing - just taking my own sweet time. Haha. But I'll be doing chapters 3 and 4 together pretty soon.

2:10 I love when the ideas of a philosopher connects in my head while reading different works!
Yeah, it feels like a very rewarding experience when that happens!

Thank you so much Irfan. Hope you enjoy the book. The word 'enjoy' doesn't seem appropriate when used for Kierkegaard though. :P
