I was so happy to hear when you’d started your own channel. Your videos with watch finder are fantastic and your narration skills are superb; to then add jokes and your own humour adds another tier. Quickly one of my favourite watch channels
Andrew, what a treat this was! Glad to see a different take on your selections. The Greubel, MB&F, and Lange are incredible choices! Love that you still have a love for the Tudor. I own a Black Bay 36 and it simply is the do-it-all watch. I own the Grand Seiko SBGW235, with the blued hand, and can also testify that it truly is such a simple pleasure that is so understated and a joy to wear every time. Great stuff!
I found the face to the magical voice from Watchfinder!!!! Andrew, good luck with your channel, try to talk to people who know how youtube algorithms work, to move your channel in suggestions. You will see that in half a year you will finally be able to acquire long coveted Lange Turbillone. I will never be able even to touch the cheapest watches you talk about, but the way you tell the story, the detail, the passion keep me, poor 40year-old lad in the outskirts of Israel, glued to the screen of old smartphone for hours. Thank you.
With you on the BB58 .After I got mine from the AD in Valencia they called to let me know a Yachtmaster Platinum I had been on the list for had come in.The proportions and the dash of blue attracted me but the thought of scratches was scary. In the end sense prevailed and politely declined The Lang and Heyne Georg in gold is wonderful but the Law of Diminishing Returns has to kick in even for art.
Man, I have searched this channel and subscribed for only one reason - To know the face behind that voice - Is this Voice made only for watch reviews. So serene and pleasant to hear all day!
The Freak will always be on my list, and the Watchfinder video on it was what opened my eyes to it. The MB&F in this video is super impressive, as well.
Hm... a couple of watches I would like to own, but could not afford nor get my hands on (yet): 1. IWC Mark XX 2. Cartier Santos Large with black bezel 3. Glashütte Original Seventies Chrono 4. Rolex Datejust 126 334 with the grey dial 5. Vacheron Constantin Overseas 6. A. Lange & Söhne Odysseus Just to name a few... 😊
I have no clue how long you've been making these videos, but as a newer watch enthusiast I have to say you're already a favorite. Fantastic narration and you and I have a very similar sense of humor. Keep at it!
I managed to get the Grand Seiko SBGW267 in a roundabout way when another purchase fell through and I’m utterly delighted by it. For a ‘dress’ watch you can wear that sucker with absolutely anything and it still looks good.
Great video Andrew and fantastic that the dulcet tones of Tom didn’t interrupt the knowledgeable side of the partnership. Agree with all your choices, but noticed there weren’t many micro or up and coming new brands mentioned, but you might consider them for future content. How about your favourite worst brands or watches irrespective of price?
My Stealth GA2100 took me a year to acquire... thanks to you lot!!! :) The BB58 is going down as a Beautiful Classic for sure. The rest are all amazing works of art and craftsmanship, any of them would make a watch collector giddy as a school girl to see them in person.
My favorite is the watch I am currently using every day, the uber tool like Muehle Glashutte SAR Resque Timer. A beast of a watch that takes all kind of beating and is water resistant down to a completely unnecessary 1000m.
1:13 Absolutely! It's nigh impossible to read in the sunlight but I too don't care. This is easily my favorite fun watch because of the dial and clear case and strap. I found out about this watch 2 months after its launch but was lucky enough to find one after a weekend of searching. It's entirely sold out now.
Nice to see your sophisticated taste in watches, beautiful pieces, I was looking for your cool robot watch too, I've never seen anything like it. Personally I love Mb&F Evo line so much. I just want to stare at that perpetual calendar for days, that's a gorgeous watch 🥲 Thanks Andrew for another great episode 👍🏼
Really interesting list, good stuff! I'm with you on the BB58, I have a blue one and it's just a Goldilocks watch. Current favourite though has to be JLC's LE Master Control Memovox Timer in rose gold. Fascinating movement and pure class. They'll be gone before i save up that many pennies though.
Loving the new channel Mr Morgan..!! and one of my all time favorite watches is the Jaeger Le Coultre Reverso Duoface Night and Day 270.3.54 Material: 18 Kt White Gold and my 2nd favorite is the Tudor Prince Oysterdate Automatic Chrono Time Reverse Panda Reference 79280 year 1995
Had the opportunity to see the MB&F Legacy Machine Perpetual Evo in the flesh (metal?) earlier this year at the Doha Jewelry and Watch Exhibition. What was even better was that the representative from MB&F was so cool about it, removing it from it's display case and letting us see it up close. I never expected that, given the fact that I'm about as likely to ever afford one as I am at winning the lottery. I made this known to the rep and his response instantly made MB&F my favourite watchmaker, "Nonsense, this is why we are here, to share and enjoy our pieces with everyone".
Fantastic channel name and visuals/editing. Not sure I like many of your top ten, but really enjoyed seeing and hearing you talk about them, and love that you love them. All very real and passionate. Don’t change 😉
I got the g2100srs 7aer, my first G shock and couldn't be happier. Also the sun reflection isn't bad at all, for the 5-10 degrees out of 180 that it reflects fully, it takes the smallest turn to see it clearly.
Well I own a Speedy and a Bb58 so glad you chose them. Favourite expensive watches include the Streamliner but the fume green dial would be my favourite.
Great collection of high end horological pieces, even this colourful Casio. My last favourite watch is Baby Triton Orient 70th Anniversary Limited Edition Jaguar Focus. Probably one of the best lumes obtainable on the market. I paid namely two hundred pound sterling and no penny more. Together with delivery.
The solid gold Rory McElroy version was very special. I was in the market for one earlier this year as the model changed and I couldn't make my mind up, Hesolite, Saphire, old model new model...in the end I bailed and bought a BB58. Great video as ever - smoke blown..
My choices for favourite watches could be fairly easily classified as route one vanilla. Speedmaster moon watch, explorer 2, CW sealander in green with the green canvas strap and the Black Bay. What I actually have is a 35 yr old TAG 2000 ( bought when I was 28) a Seiko chronograph and an Apple Watch (red) I put the “(red) “ in there to show how much of a risk taker I am. What an interesting selection!! Loved the speedy, great choice. That Lange is divine. For utter spectacle, love or hate them but there are some Jacob & co watches that are incredible Right now I’m loving the Morritz Grossman that has that crazy pendulum movement. Fantastic classic design with a truly wonderful movement and very vaguely within the realms of possibility.

People do say the Moonwatch has too many iterations, but Rolex has more SKUs for the Daytona live on their site than special edition Speedies from Omega in the last 2 decades. The latter just aren't publicized nearly as much.
I found myself laughing out loud while I watched. You hit my absolute grail in the end. That Lange is simply amazing! This is what I’d call an absolute grail. That is the grail that I have no chance of attaining but still hold out hope…gorgeous!! And to think, the Nautilus was selling for more than this watch?! If you know of anyone who will trade my 5712 for that watch place send them my way!!

Great choices. Very tempted to buy the Greubel, but have decided to keep my BB 58 blue. And my house. After all, my Tudor tells me the time very well (even sans reading glasses) while the house keeps me dry. Enjoying your videos, subscribed :)
Agree with you on the IWC, the Black Bay and the Speedmaster Moonshine (and I really like the new one with the gold case and green dial 😍). I have the Casio but the non-iridescent one that I picked up for
Agree on the IWC pilot …….. But I think I prefer the Longines edition. All the thrills half the price. In fact I think I prefer it independent of price. I’ve always loved IWC and I have a 1942 edition I spoke to you about recently. Their recent tendency to borrow interest via motor sport etc. sub branding devalues them to my mind.
Per Omega: Numbers 3-28 were given to NASA astronauts. Numbers 29 to 32 were offered to Swiss watch industry leaders and politicians, and numbers 33-1,000 were sold to the general public. Numbers 1,001 to 1,014 were given to astronauts of later missions or “other personalities”.
Great list, enjoyed it loads. Especially love the Grand Seiko, imho the SBGW231 is one of the most tasteful watches in existence. What other tasteful watches are there at similar and different price points?
I recognized Andrew's voice, but it was driving crazy where I heard it! Thanks Andrew for letting us know you emceed the WatchFinder videos. Have you gone out on your own and created a new channel, or are you still with WatchFinder?
Love you reviews. Nice to see your face to. We like to see our friends. I've fallen asleep many nights listening to your voice, wearing everything from Rolex to Panerai and G-shocks
If like iridescent things that change with the light, you really need to consider the SBGA413 Shunbun for the Grand Seiko. No dial I’ve seen shimmers and changes like that one (well, maybe except for that G-Shock).
Wait! The VOICE of Watchfinder and Co??? Finally get to see your face. Great voice! I subscribed. Great name for the channel. No offense but I hope you don't stop the Watchfinder channel it's good to only hear your voice it adds to the allure and "suspense" of the channel when you don't see your face and only see your hands moving!!!! Be Blessed.
The Grand Seiko watch is very similar to my 1949 Omega Tressor in 18k rose gold. I bought over 4 years ago for $1500.00 mechanical wind. It is a beautiful 36mm watch. The new Omega Tressor is 40mm and $16,000.
In 2019 I bought a great dive watch that you've never heard of by a very friendly company you've never heard of and its got a Seiko NH35A movement in it. It hasn't really been off my wrist to this day so I recently purchased the upgraded Swiss STP movement one from the same company. The companies name is Enoksen Watches in Belfast and Its the ENOKSEN 'DEEP DIVE' E11/SF STEEL EDITION - DIVER'S WATCH. In my opinion its the greatest diver ever, and for the price unbelievable, but nobodies heard of it nor the company and I can't understand why. - very little reviews on RUclips and other sites.
I got the same casio on the same basis, it is actually unreadbale in person, you have to twist it in low light to see the hands and the display is so small that you cant see it under normal conditions, never mind with this luminescence, but I still put it on for swimming or if I want to flash the colours with my outfit... very superficial watch.
Given the Forsey, how about a Minase 7 Windows? :) I'm afraid my favourite watches are a damn lot more pedestrian. I'd settle for one of the Breguet Classiques with a guilloche dial, then with a Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda GMT Rattrapante as an integrated sports watch, followed by a trio of Grand Seiko watches. What I've achieved so far is a duo of Grand Seiko watches. :)
Andrew, always love your videos. What's your honest opinion on Franck Muller watches? Will they ever gain the popularity they once had or make a comeback? I recently Purchased a crazy hour and I'm loving it. The looks, the fit on my wrist and how easy it goes with outfits. (ofc not at the retail price of 17k usd, but a grey market 14k usd)
Some great stuff, some questionable. Really odd decisions made by the business. An opportunity to get some fantastic watchmaking if you play your cards right!
Heres my **Top 5**, off the top of my head, at the top of the morning (in Montreal, Canada) 1) IWC x Porsche Compass (the moonphase reference if I'm being particular. Its an odd-ball piece that has always fascinated me.) 2) Rolex Datejust, Ref 1601 (Two-Tone, yes please.) 3) Omega SpeedMaster Calibre 321 (maybe should be my #1 choice...This is the watch that made me really fall in love with watches) 4) A clean, NOS, mid-century Omega Sea-Master (there are SO many references, universally appealing, attainable, serviceable, I can go on....) 5) Any watch made by Roger Smith (shooting for the moon here, but the handmade utterly obsessive nerdy qualities of the english watchmaking style is the stuff of dreams to me.) Andrew, long time fan (deep diving Watchfinder videos during the pandemic was how i really developed a taste and sense of the industry). Was stoked to find this new personal channel and FINALLY put a face to a name... I mean set of hands🤣 Talking hands, that is ;)

mechanical wind.
Also great to see you with your own video's and best of luck to you
Glad to see you chose a BB. I have the BB GMT, and they are both class watches. Good choice!
I'm afraid my favourite watches are a damn lot more pedestrian.
Heres my **Top 5**, off the top of my head, at the top of the morning (in Montreal, Canada)
1) IWC x Porsche Compass (the moonphase reference if I'm being particular. Its an odd-ball piece that has always fascinated me.)
2) Rolex Datejust, Ref 1601 (Two-Tone, yes please.)
3) Omega SpeedMaster Calibre 321 (maybe should be my #1 choice...This is the watch that made me really fall in love with watches)
4) A clean, NOS, mid-century Omega Sea-Master (there are SO many references, universally appealing, attainable, serviceable, I can go on....)
5) Any watch made by Roger Smith (shooting for the moon here, but the handmade utterly obsessive nerdy qualities of the english watchmaking style is the stuff of dreams to me.)
Andrew, long time fan (deep diving Watchfinder videos during the pandemic was how i really developed a taste and sense of the industry). Was stoked to find this new personal channel and FINALLY put a face to a name... I mean set of hands🤣 Talking hands, that is ;)
Lovely choices and thank you for the kind words 😊
