- The Donut Meida Cruise in at the Petersen museum was Donut's first event in quite a while nad the turn out was awesome! Many cool cars, but the coolest by far was one little Yaris.

Haha! Was great seeing the Yaris get some love, can't wait to see you tearing up the track again! RIP 4runner ✌️😎🔰🏁🔥
Love your focus point of building the way you want yaris to be and the hidden camera 📷 for people's comments was pure gold. Looking forward to upcoming videos 📹
I am excited to see what youre gonna do with the Yaris.
Sooo excited and anxious to see how the swap goes. I have a n echo(Yaris mk1) and would like to swap this engine if it’s fairly easy.
Good to see you back man I was worried for a sec there. Bout to take my yaris through stage 2.
Cool video! My car is the blue Prelude that I can see through your in-car GoPro, what a fun perspective to have... best of luck with the new engine project!!
Can you record the process of swapping the engine? I'd like to see it be done, it'll teach me a lot about what to do when I eventually get around to modifying my nugget
Hey bro what was the oiling issue?
Not sure what your plans are for the 4Runner, but if you want something cheap and decent, both Toyota t100’s and sequoia’s can be had pretty dang cheap! My t100 actually tows decently well unless you’re towing a really heavy car lol
BTW did you put in a c56 gearbox? Im looking for one now, the gear ratio is so much nicer than the normal yaris boxes.
First
Excuse me, did you buy that bar for the belts or did you make it yourself? thank you
Bought it from NRG
ooof, man the 4runner should be still solid! its a tank of a frame, just cosmetic damage? or is it way worse?
Looks like it just needs a body swap, but that's still a lot of work. Might have to cut my losses and get something better at towing anyway
Where did you get the harness bar and the stress bar on the upper section of the rear hatch? Can’t seem to find it anywhere.
Harness bar is an NRG 47in universal. Had to use different hardware to get it to fit. The c pillar bar is from Megan racing
Sequoia for tow rig? 😅
6000lb towing capacity for a 2000lb car. It's not like I need a Duramax up in here
Well my Yaris was not there..... So..... What is the ETA on that engine swap!?!?!?!?!? I am waiting on you!!!!
It's all just waiting on money stuff. I don't want to spend money on an engine until I've got a solid towing solution sorted out. I might even sell the FRS and get a newer truck. Just need to see where a bunch of other things in life land before pulling the trigger.
@@RassoolRacing I totally understand.... Ill just keep saving until your unveil or I save enough for a fully forged turbo set up.
Why not just do a 1NZFXE ... 13.5:1 compression from a Pirus C with a XB trans, standalone ecu on corn juice... and just worry about wiring in stand alone. 200whp is possible
What spring rates are you running ???
The 1NZFXE is an Atkinson cycle motor so you'd need to use the 1NZFE head. The Xb trans Bell housing doesn't fit without making new motor mounts (and it wouldn't matter cuz I'm already using the Xb final drive). E85 on this car requires changing a few fuel lines to avoid corrosion, and a stand alone ECU plus harness and tune is pretty expensive. I'm looking at a much simpler version I can do with minimal skill.
1st gen xb basically same trans except the shorter gearing is different. The 1nzfxe Atkinson cycle but can be converted by using 1nzfe cams or possibly using just an intake as the exhaust cam. Same has been done on the 2arfxe engines.
@@rippspeed1 the only shorter gearing in the Xb is the final drive (which I already have), the 1NZFE/FXE combo is on the list for one day but for now I'm going with a 1.8l 2zr. With tune and exhaust it's looking like 150hp without cracking the engine open and since the 2zr replaced the 2zz in the lotus Elise for a hot minute there are some really good supporting mods available. I'll definitely keep my 1nz around though and hopefully use the parts for a high compression build in the future.
