Happy Easter 2021 everyone! In this video, I'll be planting my seed starts from their indoor pots to their new homes in the garden and in the raised beds. One of the raised beds I just built yesterday but I repurposed the existing soil from the old bed so that all of the existing worms and beneficial microbes stayed put. I'll be planting tomatoes, peppers and potatoes today, but plan on adding other fruits and veggies over the next week. Hope you enjoyed this little garden tour and planting video. I'll be updating my grown from seed series' soon - Apple, Kiwi, Citrus and Avocado. I'm sorry for my absence last year. I was busy with other projects but do plan on updating many of my "Grown from Seeds" series over the next several weeks so stay tuned for more video (especially more than I did last year!). If you are still here and watching, you'll be happy to know that we have some exciting updates to many of the fruit trees I have started from seed over the past several years, like my Apple Trees, Peach Trees, Plum Trees, Pear Trees, Kiwi Vines, and even the Citrus Trees and the Avocado Trees! I thank those still subscribed and hopefully you are already getting into the planting process - Spring is here! Happy Easter. My stim check should go in by the 7th. I will be adding 2-3 new 4x8x12 beds myself. Already growing some seedlings for transplanting in May. Will be taking my Wild Pear seeds out of the fridge next week.
I retired at age 55 & i grow herbs & vegetables... i find it very rewarding.. but i can never quite manage to get any tomatoes from the garden to the kitchen.. they get washed whilst watering the garden & eaten
What a coincidence as you know i collect coins and i am a native plant specialist with a horticulture degree . I do native plant restorations for the city of chicago and do community vegetable gardens so this is a great channel.
Thanks got your penny mat today i planted my seeds also for my garden and will be back to work fulltime next week as everything is finnaly starting to grow. Maybe if i plant a bunch of wheat pennies a 1909s vdb may come up?
Wow and awesome! New to your channel and simply amazed at your talent. I quickly subscribed and will be spending the next few months watching your videos I missed. What a way to start the season, thank you and God bless!
Rob! So good to see an awesome use of space in the garden! Of course, I’m rooting for the Carolina Reapers! If they are the seeds I got you, mine grew over 5’ last year and produced hundreds of pods. I noticed at first they would drop their flowers, all of them. Then I realized, it was sun or light. They need the heat and the sun for a good long time with lots of watering but in well drained soil. Just a heads up. I see a nice drip system in place as well. Excited for the new season! I have a few tips for the under producing areas and the entire area as well. First, online, spend a few videos with Hoss Tools and their drip irrigation system of fertilizing direct using regular watering to eliminate waste and not growing weeds! It’s a spectacular series. Though they grow in larger field types, it works the same wonder on small raised beds. Also, the fertilization process by using zones to regulate who gets what type of fertilization is awesome as your peppers will have a different demand than the tomatoes. Also, some great tips on stringing tomatoes and pruning which increased my yield by 80% last year! Amazing the small tips that have the biggest bang for the buck! I’d suggest the 20/20/20 over the 10/10/10 with a Urea nitrogen in areas that need that extra boost (get the granular to prevent any burning and dissolves fast). Hoss Tools also has the perfect fertilizer combos that I’ve seen on the market! No Home Depot or Lowe’s, get results not costs. I’ll keep watching and if you like my ideas and suggestions I’ll keep them coming! If ever you need anything, don’t hesitate to contact me!
Wow! You sure do keep busy...my goodness. Your garden already looks great! I can't wait to see what it's going to look like come harvest season. I hope that you and your entire family had a great Easter! love your videos!
They make a great galvanized expansion straps for outdoor boards. Did you know that cherry, grape tomatoes and hot peppers will cross pollinate. Making the peppers juicy and tomatoes spicy. In Pennsylvania we have to hothouse all our tomatoes until mid-May.
I'm getting excited lol my tomatoes are coming up from seed aswell with my peas garlic leeks just about, planted some potatoes today shop bought and I let them sprout , also cauliflower, just waiting on my thyme and my peppers ' peppers seem to take a long thyme 😁 to appear , I'm rooting for them 😏

Happy Easter! We also started our tomatoes this week and my fruit trees are doing really nicely thanks to your seed sprouting method!
Happy Easter and Happy growing! :)
@@RobBackyardGardenerr .. we’ve got snow in England so i fear for the fragile herbs doing ever so well so far
"Beefmaster" is such a great name for a tomato!
Looking good, building an appetite for Easter dinner.

Potatoes are my absolute favorite thing to have in my garden. They are the Ronco Rotisserie Oven of vegetables. Set it, and forget it.
Cucumbers are my favorite. Then I pickle them in hot peppers
I did my tomato 🍅 yesterday
Maxxi the Moose "GANG" LOL
5:30 I think you meant to say plum tree.
Rob here’s a question about onions. If my onion is sprouting what they call “shooting” can I plant it in hopes of growing?
Potato's need 24" - 30" spacing to get any thing worth eating.

Go to the barber or hairstylist and ask them for some hair to put into your garden. Helps keep out pests and And has nitrogen
