This was such an amazing game in so many ways. First of all, Jamie Campbell's brave and touching speech about his diagnosis of chronic lymphocytic leukemia at the beginning of the broadcast was inspirational to anyone experiencing serious health problems. Then the pre-game ceremonies were some of the best I've ever seen: The presentation of the 3 Silver Slugger awards and Billye Aaron presenting the Hank Aaron award to Vladdy Jr., the amazing Olympians and Paralympians being showcased, the massive Canadian flag as always, the unveiling of the new huge "jumbotron" etc. Then we get an amazing come from behind win in the first true Blue Jays Opening Day/Night since 2019. What a night of Canadian baseball. As a Canadian this is a night I'll always remember; a short reprieve from all of the turmoil going on in the world right now. Let's Go Blue Jays!
