That's what makes Vladdy so good, he usually won't swing and miss at balls off the plate. He just wont offer at them very often although last night I did see him strikeout at a pitch he'd normally wouldn't even flinch at.

In all the Blue Jays season previews, it seemed like people overlooked the importance of having Alek Manoah for a full season. I've always recognized that It's not Gausman that's going to replace the sheer dominance of Robbie Ray, it's going to be Alek Manoah.
