Yeah that made no friggen sense really. I mean I get Darrell didn't wanna sell to them. But they are a store. I thought for a minute he would flip the coin ..."$4500 if I win , $2,000 if you win..." But its clear he wanted to hang onto this all from what we saw.
your not that smart the nerds said they were interested in this stuff and were already thing what to offer him. they low balled him at 3,000 bucks lol nerds try to play the gambler lol
watch it again the nerds said they ere already thinking about what to offer dale and dale knew trhe nerds wanted it ad gave him a low estimate of his stuff. dale is a gambler he knows whats up
Never take the first offer if you can help it, lol that's buying and selling 101. There were a few key words there, "we can't let this stuff walk out the door." If someone says something like that and shows genuine interest, that's your cue to jack up the prices and get a reaction. Most of the time they're not gonna take your offer either, but you gotta start as high as you can and work your way down into an agreeable price from there.
that was a great way to end negotiations. very respectful and can get you a potential buyer later and perhaps maybe a repeat buyer in the future. I love this show
Game store guy 1: "we CAN NOT let this go out the door" **Three heavily armed thugs emerge from the back room** Game store guy 2: **cracks knuckles** "but you can try"
I actually bought that Stadium Events from Daryl Sheets. I paid 400.00 for it. He had the other rare games on ebay and was asking 100.00 over retail per a game.
As an avid NES collector and enthusiast, I am certain that the games in the black bags were absolutely, without any doubt, planted by the producers of the show..no way they found those games in the black bag in the same storage locker as the commons
Darrell seems like he’s going through middle age denial and his son is the mailman’s kid. This show is a perfect example of why antique and resale stores are insanely overpriced.
There are a couple of rare games in those bags that they didn't point out...if you look very carefully, you can see Rescue Rangers 2, Cowboy Kid, and Panic Restaurant. All of that is not worth $3,000...but I would value it all over $2,000 if you count all the rare games including the ones they didn't point out, the NES system, and all the common games.
salozmen29 Because below the "Official Nintendo seal of quality-mark" in the frontcover there it´s the "B", and that is the sign for the European "PAL B"-version... Some of the European NES-games have also the oval-formed "Seal of Quality"-marks, like all the typical american NTSC-versions.
puts the rarest games in a separate bag and then claims he doesn't know what games they are? How can people watch this and not feel they had their intelligence insulted.
He said what was laying on the table at first was around $80 but the 2 games on top of the stack to the left were Snow Bros. and a Pal exclusive Ufouria.
My dad use to be a department manager for a old store at swallons in Middletown Ohio and tri county Ohio and the store had the Nintendo set up with the running pad and I remember that I use to play on it
trolls is worth like 100, zombie nation is worth like 250, bonks adventure is worth 200, pal stadium events isn't worth much either, snow Bros goes for about 230, like ya right this whole lot is worth 1500
This show is setup all reality TV shows are set up but if that was a real Stadium events it would go for more than $3,000 for the lot. That store owner if it was a real deal was ripping those guys off.
Christ, half the comments on here are stupid. Just because the games are PAL doesn't make them worthless. Sure, the NTSC version of Stadium Events can go for 10k+, but the PAL version, in that condition, can still easily go for 400-600 bucks. Considering there are a good few other rare games there and are in near mint condition, it's not a stretch to value the whole package at 3k. Probably would have been nearer 5k, if the games were all boxed.
ok...the running game that is RARE is worth about 70,000 now...watch the buzzfeed video and do your research...im not being a smartass but i gasped when i saw that game
meh pal version of stadium events aint worth that much, i had it when i was a kid. its the gray and gold cartidges from the tournament/event that is rare and valued. gl finding them on storage wars
ah man. those store guys would have still ripped him off at 5000 dollars for all that. stadium events goes for around 13,000 alone. and with the other games he had he has around 14,000 dollars easy. those store guys were stupid not to take the coin flip. even if they would lose the coin toss, at 5000, its a steal.
123hellstorm That's a PAL Stadium Events, NOT an American NTSC (which is the expensive one). Also, it'd need to be complete-in-box in addition to being the NTSC version in order for it to approach the $13,000 range.
Fake. Also that's the PAL stadium events that nobody cares about.
"I would price this lot at $3,000"...."I'll sell it to you for $4,500" -- wait, wat
Yeah that made no friggen sense really. I mean I get Darrell didn't wanna sell to them. But they are a store. I thought for a minute he would flip the coin ..."$4500 if I win , $2,000 if you win..." But its clear he wanted to hang onto this all from what we saw.

That awkward fist high five though....
They do that every time
Hey PAL, nice Stadium Events cart.
Every time I read the description and see the "video game sellers who know the true worth of his new collection", I die little bit inside.
that was a great way to end negotiations. very respectful and can get you a potential buyer later and perhaps maybe a repeat buyer in the future. I love this show
Game store guy 1: "we CAN NOT let this go out the door"
**Three heavily armed thugs emerge from the back room**
Game store guy 2: **cracks knuckles** "but you can try"
Nice PAL stadium events you got there, tsk tsk.
+sharp turn So underpayed for Stadium Events xD
sharpturn i
I caught that.
It's unreasonable that in that small amount of games, there would be 5-6 rare titles like that
+Snestalgia64 And notice that they claimed they didn't know they were rare - and yet separated all the rare ones from the rest of the lot. o_o
It was probably a collectors haul that was passed down and the people didn't know the value so they kept them stored away
why?
I love going to this store. They are the nicest people and are always glad to help you find what you need
That Stadium Events was the PAL version, not the US which makes a huge difference. About $1000 difference.
*$9700 difference.
This is totally fake. These games are worth around $1500 at the most. The guys running this store are straight up lying about the value
ZachAttack84 5
+ZotakuFilms probably because they are star struck about being approached its all for the camera
Are you kidding. That snow brothers game is worth a fortune and a prize to any collector.
+Alyssa Boucher $300 is a "fortune"?
it didn't show all the stuff in the box he brought more
I actually bought that Stadium Events from Daryl Sheets. I paid 400.00 for it. He had the other rare games on ebay and was asking 100.00 over retail per a game.
Was it a good price or no?
5,000, yeah right. Hell no
As an avid NES collector and enthusiast, I am certain that the games in the black bags were absolutely, without any doubt, planted by the producers of the show..no way they found those games in the black bag in the same storage locker as the commons
It's possible
This is some good acting!!
Shows like these are ruining the retro collecting scene
Nobody cares
Oh no not that!!! Take my eyes just not the retro collecting scene!!!!
seriously!
Darrell seems like he’s going through middle age denial and his son is the mailman’s kid. This show is a perfect example of why antique and resale stores are insanely overpriced.
They're obviously selling stuff
Those guys run a game store and don't know the difference between the NTSC and PAL versions of Stadium Events? Lmao
First NES 001 now this.... atleast we wont see a million stadium events on ebay... hopefully T_T
Darrel You are awesome when it comes to video games
BULLSHIT Its the PAL version!
captainburble86 How can you tell its the PAL version?
salozmen29 Because below the "Official Nintendo seal of quality-mark" in the frontcover there it´s the "B", and that is the sign for the European "PAL B"-version...
Some of the European NES-games have also the oval-formed "Seal of Quality"-marks, like all the typical american NTSC-versions.
*****
Ahh okay. Thank You. Those guys are pretty shitty video game experts then ha ha
+kain homan repros ain't worth but fifty tops
+kain homan ah... nothing collectors don't want to touch reproductions that's always been a fact in collecting anything.
"That's so awesome guys" "Are shows totally fake!"
puts the rarest games in a separate bag and then claims he doesn't know what games they are? How can people watch this and not feel they had their intelligence insulted.
1:18 the awkward high 5/fist pump hate when that happens
I call fake news, they didn't even unscrew them to check the boards.
Honestly, you're only seeing the few games they showed on TV. They quoted 3000 for the whole lot. Looks pretty spot on to me.
The acting is terrible
He said what was laying on the table at first was around $80 but the 2 games on top of the stack to the left were Snow Bros. and a Pal exclusive Ufouria.
he should have sell it to angry video game nerd!
Some of those are international games! Worthless in the USA!
My dad use to be a department manager for a old store at swallons in Middletown Ohio and tri county Ohio and the store had the Nintendo set up with the running pad and I remember that I use to play on it
Videos like this are why I have to tell old ladies their Disney VHS tapes are worthless.
Mr Brown and I got along famously!
"This is gambler, not stupid"
Stadium events best of best
Unbelievably low balled.
He's says I'm a gambler not stupid then proceeds to say $5,000 or $5 on flip of a coin.
nice pal stadium events
i cant be the only one that thought the guy with the white t shirt was JCVD lol (jean claude van damme)
If this clip was a comic, I will burn it.
Omg they found snow brothers. That games can go for thousands of it had the box. Omg wow
I was expecting a Pokemon battle when the store guy sides I can't let you leave?
That FSAS tshirt though !
That shirt should say "Bad actor" instead of "Gambler."
BRUH STANDIUM EVENTS THERES AN ESTIMATE OF ONLY 200 LEFT IN CIRRCULATION AND NOWADAYS ITS WORTH 9000
Stadium Events (Nintendo Entertainment System)
Price Range: $13,000 -- $41,300; $10,000 for the box alone
For the US one, sure. The one in this video is the PAL version, much much less.
trolls is worth like 100, zombie nation is worth like 250, bonks adventure is worth 200, pal stadium events isn't worth much either, snow Bros goes for about 230, like ya right this whole lot is worth 1500
two years later on ebay sold the stadium events for 30.000$
For North American copy, yes. the one in this video is a much cheaper PAL copy.
And don't forget to pay the laddddyyyyyy
1:21 fist pump or high five?
Nice German version of Stadium Events you got there.
Nine Nine Nine!!!
that's also the PAL version of Stadium Events thats worth a couple hundred, rather than a couple thousand.
The normal events is around 10k when the pal is 900 - 2000
Now that's a gambling 5k or 5
I do like the coin flip bet that was cool
FAKE! This is soooo comical... fake fake fake.
RaiderInNY: What, the cartridges themselves oorrrr what?
there geeking out on my games haha
My Nintendo collection should be $5000 then.
Wtf lol. Should've sold that on the spot for at least 3,500 and I'll be good lol
Guy in the white shirt looks kinda like an odd version of brad pitt
sooooo.. its convenient that all the rarest games are in the same bag.. ya this show is real alright
Bologna! This is so setup, such bs. No one is that lucky.
I get better lots on eBay than that. Like seriously that entire collection wasn't that amazing.
They need to make a new series called "eBay Wars"
Wow these games are that valuable? I will be asking for a lot of money when I sell them. Thanks for the info Darrell
Stadium Events alone sells for $3000-$5000 on auctions and Cons
Ya but this is the PAL Stadium Events not worth as much
They could probably get 3000 for the stadium events alone
High Fiving a Fist Bump=Akward Lvl 10000
1:21 high five and fist bruh was is that
Im pretty sure i remember reading somewhere that a copy of the good stadium events game recently sold for around $13k
jeez, i would just take it all
Stadium events alone is worth about 3 grand
Pal stadium events. lol
+RedditRobot rare lmao
Still a $500 game so it is rare
This show is setup all reality TV shows are set up but if that was a real Stadium events it would go for more than $3,000 for the lot. That store owner if it was a real deal was ripping those guys off.

the games are theirs, this show is pretend, scripted, the experts are the once that own the stuff they judge...
THAT COPY OF STADIUM EVENTS IS A PAL!!! THAT THING ON EBAY IS BARLEY WORTH 1000$!!!
It says gambler not stupid... It should say stupid
$5000 yeah right btw that stadium events is pal so its worth nearly as much as the ntsc version
where can i find the full episode?
Fist bump high five was the best. But not worth the scripted drama
LOOOOOOOOOOL
This is clearly fake.
ok...the running game that is RARE is worth about 70,000 now...watch the buzzfeed video and do your research...im not being a smartass but i gasped when i saw that game
Acting at its finest!
Sports games really sad
The stadium events game was pal B not NTSC
WTF!!! Thought stadium events was worth 20 or 30 grand???
NTSC is....the one in this vid is the PAL copy.
Came here from Pat
meh pal version of stadium events aint worth that much, i had it when i was a kid. its the gray and gold cartidges from the tournament/event that is rare and valued. gl finding them on storage wars
It only took 5 cents for a Chinese kid to make that thing.
whats your point loser
Ik it Olympic Games was rare cause of buzzfeed
ah man. those store guys would have still ripped him off at 5000 dollars for all that. stadium events goes for around 13,000 alone. and with the other games he had he has around 14,000 dollars easy. those store guys were stupid not to take the coin flip. even if they would lose the coin toss, at 5000, its a steal.

123hellstorm You are the part of the problem on why collecting really isn't fun anymore.
i don t understand why the sellers would wanna do a coin flip..$5!? thats insane. why would they even take that risk?
EyeAm Nobody
The show is scripted (ie. acting).
The buyers should of told the sellers
The games are not that rare
Then they would be smarter
so fake that it makes me laugh
hahahah this is so not true and fake. oh here is the common box of stuff..but wait here is a bag if good games. and there prices and soooooo wrong!!
anybody here from the CUPodcast?
its brandal not Brandon hahahahahhahahhahha
Stadium events in 2018 is $20
This is so Staged, you can't find bong, zombie nation, snow brothers, and stadium events pal in one storage locker come on
