I'm actually most excited about that 1 cost Disguise upgrade. It can be used in alter-ego which is absolutely disgusting for heroes like Iron Man and Black Widow. For Jubilee, she can also use it in alter-ego to instantly clear her Shopping Spree side scheme on turn 1 before she flips up since Disguise is an item card and the thwart action is coming from an alter-ego. The side scheme is only restricted against heroes and allies.
Hi D20. It's interesting that universal resources are treated as a particular kind of resource for Jubilee's events. The reason why they printed universal resource on Jubilee's events is for making it clear that if you use 2 or more universals they only count as ONE type. I love Jubilation Lee and was wondering how her mutant powers would be implemented. It seems they found a very interesting way to represent them. The fact that she comes with 3 double/different resources cards in her kit helps a lot for paying her and/or aspect expensive cards.
I don 't think this is the case. It would say, printed resource, it doesn't say that though. I think there is something super fringe with some events that I just wasn't thinking of.
Disguise is just an ACTION so it can be triggered in Alter Ego. Again, you're exhausting your identity, but you can use this to clear Shopping Spree or remove some threat tht just got added because you were in alter ego. Very rare that you can do attack/thrwart from alter ego let alone either hero or alter ego. interesting card! Could be useful for hereos that can ready up easily, could come in handy when its about to scheme out and you dont really have a way to help
here's the combo: Jubilee in hero form. Assuming disguise is out: use disguise to clear Shopping Spree. Get her sunglasses out. Follow up with Waylay (7 damage), exhaust sunglasses...and say you use 3 diffierent resources, thats either 10 damage to one enemy, or 3 damage to another. so thats 10 damage for 3 resources. Thats a wallop
I think it is hilarious that a jubilee wants to use sidekick on Wolverine but Wolverine doesn’t want to use it on Jubilee. Shopping Spree is good in case her items are at the bottom of the deck. I was disappointed that I couldn’t play 2 new heroes for my training mode any more due to the (possible?) gap between her and Iceman but then while thinking Rogue would go HARD on spamming her Blind Flash I realized Rogue would be a good pair up fr new heroes since she can use their cards
Jubilee feels like Ms. Marvel and Black Panther combined. Both heroes are my top 10. She has the resource to pay for expensive ally. Three Steps Ahead is such a bad card because of overpay =/= pay (This actually make some of her card worse). So max you can do is 6 thwart for 3 diff. resource. However, just play Crisis Interdiction which is 6 and can ignore crisis with no restriction.
I think she'll be a lot better in multiplayer than solo. Either way, she seems like she'll be below the cost curve against Stalwart Villians. I think she can do fine with Steady. She's the least exciting release for me so far this cycle.
Is no one going to talk about how poor the art is in her pack? Especially the package art itself. It’s horrendous! Even the wordmark for Jubilee looks like my sixth grade schoolwork made in MS Word 97! Maybe FFG is cash-strapped and can’t commission new art. Maybe all Jubilee comic art they could use is bad like that. Maybe! But they could have AT LEAST saved the art they used for Sidekick for her Hero identity card and package art. I literally can’t get over how ugly this product looks. No previous hero pack has looked this unappealing before, even the blander ones like Thor or Vision look way better than Jubilee.
The same artists did a lot of the commisioned art for the game since Wave 1, and are really good. It's probably an art direction choice with bland backgrounds on the mutants wave. Jubilee, Cable or Domino had very simple background, while Peter Quill, Natasha, Gamora or Quicksilver had more complex ones. They may be boring, but are far from ugly in my opinion.
Why is D20 convinced Patch and Wolverine are the same person? One has an eye patch.
Right? Wolverine heals. Why would he need to wear an eyepatch? That Patch guy is clearly not the best at what Wolverine does.

Won't be a staple, but it has some really awesome decks like Natasha's playing poker deck
you didnt mention that her signature Side Scheme does not have Victory 0 :) which is pretty significant

Sucks they are slowing down releases. Jubilee looks fun though! My guess is we will have 5 more solid waves for the game.

Contradicting info from FFG, the Asmodee store shows a May 17 release, same as Iceman.
