It having no disc drive and only having slight upgrades but charging $200 more is an epic fail in and of itself. The next console is launching within the next 3-5 years so what’s the point? Just get a PS5 used and you’ll be good

They think it’s a good idea to sell a $700 console and call that an “upgrade” without a disc drive nor any good games at all. What’s even the point of buying the console for $700 if it has no games nor a disc drive and always forces you to pay subscriptions to play online? This is so embarrassing for Sony themselves.

Sony could have justified the price if the PS5 Pro was fully backwards compatible like the launch 60Gb PS3's. Even $599 was hard to swallow in 2006, but at least the PS3 had the novelties of being a Blu-ray player, having free online, and free PS+ titles alongside the backwards compatibility. Where is the Sony that absolutely crushed Xbox with the, "How to Share Your Games on PS4" video? Gaming's *biggest* problems now are that it's too God damn popular and too God damn expensive.
At this point I honestly feel sad for the console crowd as a PC gamer. With the only convenient options like that I would rather have my kidneys ripped out to avoid them.

All these pc players do is talk crazy to console people, play the same exact games that was sold to the same market and call console players "broke" for not spending thousands manually building a pointless machine. The only thing pc player actually do (that is a unique characteristic) is cheat, mod and ruining gaming for everyone. The moment these modern companies STOP this "gaming inclusion crossplay" bs that same moment all the "im on pc now" ppl will be RUNNING BACK to console because of the many cheaters/modders the pc gaming world has.

The PS5 pro has RDNA 4 guaranteed 60 FPS up to 120 on all games and Astro bot and silent Hill two are games coming out this year plus the PS five has tech that PCs don’t have right now that’s amazing tech for just $700 💙🙌🏽💪🏽
