This is Kai Roger Bakken's famous Homebuilt tubechassis Audi. Built from the ground up at KRB this car has 750WHP and 800NM. The first run for the year and no problems. This video is from VW--Audi Club Norwegen @Rudskogen

I'm guessing he gives it full throttle from about 4.00 minuets onwards awesome car,front cam gives such a mass sense of the speed this car goes through its gears,very quick car indeed!!
that 5cyl sound is unmistakeable... i kinda like it
its a Sellholm MPG 4WD, a sequential gearbox that seems to be similar to a Landrover box (it has a seperate transfer box), front differential is not integrated in the gearbox, and by that can be put wherever you like

Advantages of straight cut gears? There are lots.
For example they are much easier to obtain and cheaper when custom made. And you might want them simple and cheap when you are about to grind through several gearboxes each season with a 750WHP engine and 800NM of torque.
Also don't underestimate the axial forces that helical cut gears can develop, you'd have to counter those by beefing up the bearings, shafts and the case itself, adding more weight.

Ok I see, har nettopp lest at bannen har blitt bygget ut. Vanskelig å finne en god bane kart, men det ser ut som bannen er veldig fort mellom sving 4 og 7, satse på at de store vingene funker ganske bra der!
custom AWD system from some norwegian supplier. In this car the engine is behind the front axle (see 0:17)

Got another one I didn't think about when posting - weight reduction, because the transmission case can be made lighter.
I thought that chewbacca was in the car too :D. Realy nice car. it's a 5 cylinder engine right? My father had the same engine (stock) and it was freaking nice, i just love the sound of those 5 cylinder engines :)

does this has the original quattro system in it because the engine too much in the back , because with the original quattro system the engine is placed in front of the front axle.

Does beg the question: how much of it must be home built to no longer be considered an Audi? It sounds like it still has a 5 cylinder engine, but other than that I don't think many parts of it are genuine.
What engine is used? Is it an Audi engine? or is it just the body of Audi..
Just from watching this video I get a massive smile on my face but the driver just looks so bored lol

But whats the advantage? They are structurally weaker than helical cut gears. The only advantage I can see is that they don't have thrust along the gear axis (but this is mitigated by thrust bearings).
Motorsport very big in Finland and Sweden, I do not know about Denmark. There are few good scale tracks in Norway as I know. We have Rudskogen and Arctic Circle Raceway which is in F1 format. You might say that it's funny how there are so little motorport in Norway but a very big interest (I hope you understand what I mean) because our government does stupid things to it. One example is that for like, 15 years and back there, earlier you needed to pay 100% tax on rally cars : / Socialism...
