i have a superbox spo2. I follow your instruction but the only thing i am stuck is that the CPU is a Quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 Processor. I am not sure what DTB to copy on to the files. Any suggestion ?
Got a dual boot GT King s922x 4gb with coreelec pre-installed but I wanna replace that secondary os with an emuelec boot, all tutorials haven't worked so far... any tips to ensure installation please

I would like to thank you you've given my old android a new lease of life. I would like to ask you how to get Dreamcast games to work as mine do not show up even after they scan ok in Retroarch and I have the bios files in folder called "dc" within the bios area any help is greatly appreciated.

I have an old mqx with android 4 or 6 I am not sure but it can not share the sd card. How can I still play retro games? Edit: I see i have the rocketchip and the mx4 not mxq so this wont work. Is there another way?

Please maybe show us how to configure joystick? in driving games in dreamcast xbox 360 works fine.. but any game that involves running around i cant get to work, most i can get is look up or down but no movement left or right forward and back just dont seem to work? i have configured xbox controller exactly same as you .? thanks

lol, once you have it set, its a pleasure to use and any time you get bored, you can just remove the SD card and you'll be back to your normal Android box

I believe that has an amlogic chip so worth checking out. The great thing is that you can try without make any permanent changes to your box

i would just by a USB memory card adapter for a few dollars and use that on your laptop

Yes, amiga worked for me but I had to copy the amiga kick-start files to the bios folder

does this work on any amlogic set up box containing chipset specified in the video or work with only generic setup box you know like beelink etc
Cuz I have Jio set up box which has amlogic chipset in it but does not have any official support
It's how retropie works for the Pi COMPUTERS . Emulators appear when you add games. Normally you can use a flash drive to copy over the games.
Many thanks Dude... One question, if I wanted to go back to the regular menu of the android box, is that possible? Will I just need to repeat the reset button step? Or is it just a case of removing the sd and then doing the reset button step to load back into emuelec
Just remove the SD card, restart the box and it will boot in to the normal Android OS

This is cool and I already got a T95Max SX03 powered box up n running with ETA prime`s guide but I can`t seem to find on the net a surefire way too add my own videos, screenshots from my other PC emu builds etc for some emus that I now have running on the Android box ? I`ve used screenscraper from the menus to fleshout the media for my snes and TG16 collection but on other systems like my Genesis or Mame collection it can`t do that for many of the roms and so I`ve tried adding them manually as I all ready have whole sets of media for most systems but EmuElec just ignores them even when they follow the same directory/file format as the screenscraped media that I got ? I find this very odd that it just won`t pickup onb any media that I added myself even when I added suffix text like -video or -image to them like I saw that screenscraper did and yes I refreshed game lists after just like I did when I used screenscraper. And so ..... how on earth do I get media files that I already have to show up in the game lists instead of them being ignored ? anyone ?
Which emuelec version i must use at present in 2023. As old version is not listed in given site.
Don't throw out them tv boxes. Never before has recycling tech become so useful!

Awesome video. It helped me get a couple TV boxes up and gaming. However I am looking to see about further help. I have a s905x3 that doesnt seem to want to boot the image. I have tried every file I thought would work but to no success. I even tried a few that were not mean for the s905x3. I tried the ones that ran my other two TV boxes which are also s905x3 and it didn't work on it. I have confirmed it is in fact an s905x3. Any help is appreciated.

Is there anyway for doing this for a MXQ TV BOX Amlogic S805 Quad-Core or Minix Neo X8-H Plus Amlogic S802-H SoC struggling to get anything working on it. Either Google play doesn’t work and nothing installs and can’t find the device tree for SD boot start ups.

So I know Emuelec supports external drives, so how would I make a usb stick into something I could plug in with games on? I’ve been trying but haven’t gotten it to recognize it
I'm having trouble connecting a HORI arcade stick to my Android box running emuelec 3.9. it sends signals autonomously and continuously. Is this a known issue with arcade sticks for emuelec? Thanks.
How do you get the Android box to recognize the usb drive without formatting when you put it in the Android box.
You comment on how little ram the box has many times '1 gigs ram'... however, the PS1 only had 1 MB VRAM... hehe.
