Salah only has 1 year left on his contract and unless a young player suddenly explode this season we have nobody who can realistically play there. Why would we, knowing they had a desperate need for cash offer a player and a low value of cash? If LFC offered £40m in cash it would have been more valuable to them than offering say Quansah (valued at £35m) plus £15m. Doesn't really add up.
Liverpool needs a young, world-class central midfielder and defender. We're wasting time with this mediocre Englishman and we've already lost Khéphren Thuram to Juve
Look there is multiple options this summer in the attack options don’t rule out Julian Alvarez move I think he numero uno on target list of attacking options anyways

Its been dead for weeks, It was only tentative interest and was only a possibility coz they had to move players before the financial period closed. No bids have got made. They sold 2 young players and are now good. End of story.

Besides there are several young considerably cheaper wingers throughout Europe that can play multiple positions and would be far better, much smarter investments than Gordon who would set the club back a whopping 60 plus million which he isn't remotely close to been worth. Even then Newcastle are demanding over a 100 million for him anyway.
