I forgot to tell you, try putting some fresh herbs like sage, thyme, rosemary, and parsley in your dressing. I make one with corn breadcrumbs, sautéed vidalia onions and celery (you can add carrots or bell peppers too), toasted slivered almonds, craisins (not a lot), pork sausage (sautéed and drained), fresh herbs, and chicken or vegetable stock. (I typically use sage and parsley or sage and thyme). Season to taste. My little trick is to cook them in muffin tins! Make sure it’s not a cupcake pan because the muffin pan is bigger. That way everyone gets some crunch on the outside and some creamy and fluffy filling. It’s very good!
