One of my 3 favorite Giant Squid songs, along with La Brea Tar Pits and Panthalassa. Wish more of their stuff was more like this, like if Kylesa, System of a Down and Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd had a freaky threeway and this was the result. Epic.
Sounds friggin' great! Good song, great sounds. Being a guitar player, I must comment: Sweet amps! Matamp, Orange and Ampeg on the same stage- doesn't get much better. Is that a Matamp Legend or some other model? I currently have an old NMV Orange OR120. I'm not sure if I'm keeping it because of the lack of master volume.. SO loud! That Matamp might be a good candidate for replacing it some day.
i was curious as to what tuning this song and revolution in the water utilize? i know you use 7 strings now so i have a feeling that you used A,A,D,G,B,e. especially on revolution in the water cause of the exceptionally low notes... i only ask cause ive taken an interest and are trying to learn these songs. ps-awesome band!
