@@Downshiftology Honestly meal prep doesn't really work out because I share a fridge and don't have the space to portion out 5+ servings. So I make the recipe, store it in a large 2 qt tupperware container and portion some of it out on a plate for dinner.

Your recipes are amazing! The shrimp cocktail was a hit. Flavoring the water worked out great. I don't eat shrimp but my guests LOVED them and tasted the flavors from the water.
I made this for Christmas as my grandkids love it. Well, everyone raved about how fresh & good it tasted. Never again will I buy a ready made plastic tray that has been sitting in the store for who knows how long. So simple & so good!
I would put the bowl of hot shrimp on top of a larger bowl of ice, because as long as they are hot they are still cooking. 🍤🍤🍤 😊 Lime instead of lemon is also an AMAZING flavor.

Looks so good! Is there a swap/substitute for the horseradish in the cocktail sauce? I am not a fan of horseradish, which is why I generally avoid cocktail sauce.
Maybe a bit of red chilli flake, whole grain mustard, or something else with a bit of kick to it would work. Or you could just omit it if what you don’t like is that bit of heat.
I was quite surprised and disappointed to hear your refer to the “garbage disposal”! Our planet is crying for help and reduce, reuse and recycle (green bin) should be front and centre for everyone!!

It’s not the heat it’s the taste of horseradish. Maybe I will try with a mustard and some chilies.
