Technically have that requirement here in QC too, but my inspector didn't care at all. Yet a buddy of mine got a pain in the butt inspector that made him fail because of non DOT headlights

What makes the headlights non-compliant for Canada?
I feel like it's only BC that seems to have issues with headlights. Not sure though.
Not really, it's actually very inconsistent. I had no problem getting a RHD only car with unmodified headlights through inspection at a dealership
