That one way to start a podcast.
The part about Greg's Jerk-Off Stand where Nick needs to tip must be animated
Some of the my favorite moments involve psychedelics with my friends. Don't go too hard and make sure to be with the people that make you happy!
Wasn’t expecting that to be the start of the podcast
Thank you for finally having a long episode. This felt like classic KF.
Right?! I miss the old hour-and-a-half romps lol. I know they're much harder to do, and I love what KF has done. But man this one felt like a special little treat from Milk Mommy for me
pay workers, end tipping culture
I visited New York from the Netherlands for the first time. And we were baffled by the tipping culture in America. And also, why are all the prices in the store without taxes? Thats so weird
switch em out for robots instead
@@joblessogike that will end the tipping culture 🤣 you think ChatGPT isn't gonna scream at you for their tip? 🤣
@@joblessog youre broke
Says someone who’s clearly never worked in the service industry.
Servers get paid more thanks to tips. Literally almost every server would tell you they prefer the tipping system because they end up making more money.
If you don’t like to tip, so be it, but don’t act like you’re acting in those worker’s best interests.
I hate the tip look away too, especially at Starbucks! I figured out the life hack though… pay through Starbucks app no tip question, no look away. It’s perfect!
Yes, I agree it is ridiculous.
Also I bartend at a brewery. Some jabronies come in and try to get a "taste" of every single tap we have. I give them 3 before pushing them to just buy a flight unless its real slow
Thanks for reminding me to back up 138 pictures of my newborn nick. You’re a real one.
Hey, you guys ever watch something on a service that you liked or made you laugh so hard you wished you could somehow "Like" it more than once? That's what this is 🤣
The ole rub and tug
Medicinal mushrooms have brought incredible help for those with anxiety and ptsd when taken responsibly. I live in a place they are legal. There are many different ways to experience therapeutic benefits. It doesn’t “create a high you are forever chasing” and when taken responsibly the concept of a “bad trip” is not something that really exists in appropriate scenarios. Y’all talking about it is kinda like your old aunt or uncle thinking all video games are still 1992 mortal Kombat. It’s a new world boys! Many people are very knowledgeable and want to share that knowledge!
It’s crazy to me that there’s still so many people out there thinking that mushrooms are something scary and bad rather than something wonderfully beneficial
Yea. And isn't micro dosing supposed to intentionally avoid hallucinations?
@@SuperBrentendo89 I mean if you have bad trips smoking weed, I can see why something like mushrooms would sound pretty scary to you.
Loved this episode
Was surprised to hear Greg’s take on S1 of Superman & Lois. Been really digging the whole series.
I was driving as the notification popped up on my phone for this episode, and the title just made me laugh out loud
Great show gents! Love you boys!
Fantastic episode. Love how long it was.
Nick doing shrooms I think would actually be beneficial. I forget the term, but the separation from your ego is amazing. It helped with all my insecurities.
Eyes closed, listening to meditation music, I met myself. Like had a full blown conversation. I was like wow you like that band? So do I! No way! Your left handed too!
It was the best experience of my life.
I hate when people insist on a specific tip. That's not how it works. That is a quick way for me to give you half of what I was going to tip.
I have that happened to me at a massage parlor in Vegas.
Blue Cross, Blue Shield & Blue Balls 🤣
Less than one minute in... what a way to start!! 😂🤣
I'm absolutely heartbroken for Nick's loss of photos. That's rough.
Nick is the man. Andy and greg… 🐱’s
Mushrooms are very good (I have been "told").
Just have people you are absolutely comfortable with & a very familiar/comfortable place (& maybe some activities planned like walking through a forest...best in the middle of the day)(set & setting). Knowing the right dose for the "goal" is also important. If there is ever an "overwhelming" moment it's important to remember to just breathe & let go & know that the moments pass. & also drink water. It really can teach a lot (like remaining present in the moment) & is not all about the "visuals".
My buddy will sample at least 4 beers at a bar. It drives me insane. Just order one, it's beer, it'll be fine. We're getting more, order something else next round if you hate it.
Mushrooms are not on the same level as lsd. Everyone should take shrooms once probably.
WTF greg🤣🤣🤣 best episode in a long time i miss these
This was like 4 podcasts in one
It really felt that way (in a great way!) haha
Nick is so far and away the most sane person in this conversation that it hurts. It actually made me mad to hear him. Say " I shouldn't be mad at Apple, I should be mad at myself" that's such a toxic relationship with a company that we as consumers have. We should absolutely be upset with Apple!
There at the forefront of forcing this narrative that a $ 1500 device isn't capable of being sustainable and top of the line for a 3605 day. That we are actually addicted to spending money every single month to pay for these ridiculous things every year.
I worked for one of the three biggest cell phone companies for 8 years, you can absolutely go with a phone for two plus years and not feel like you're missing on anything. But these companies have tricked us to believing that we are old and out of touch if we go more than a 12-month. Without buying a new $1,000 phone. It's stupid, it's predatory, and everyone who buys into it is an absolute idiot, myself included.
It's so frustrating to hear this conversation, we shouldn't be slaves to the device in our pocket to the point where we're willing to spend a significant portion of the average income of an American salary just to say that we're up to date with the phone that we use. The camera technology is not that much better, your backup works with any of these devices, and there's absolutely no reason to feel like you absolutely must get the new device every single year. But we're addicted to upgrading and we're addicted to staying at the cutting edge. It's gross and it's something that honestly should be regulated.
Startin off STRONG AS HELL
I completely agree with Nick on not needing a new phone / devices every single year. It is wasteful in my opinion, but I'll never judge anyone for using their money how they see fit. I went from a iPhone 7 to 12, and my car is a 2008 hanging in there as an examples, having the ability buy upgrades and choosing not to yet. Not yucking anyone's yums :) just saying I am with Nick on this. Also, glad the important photos for things like his wedding were on both his and his wife's phones. edit: grammar
Yeah once it starts affecting my life is when I finally upgrade. Like if my phone cant last the day on a charge or if im a first name basis with the tow truck guy cause my car keeps breaking down then yeah ill upgrade. Usually i get the latest and greatest at the time so I can last just as long lol
Video has been up for 6 hours and they still haven’t noticed the description and timestamps are for a different video…
15:25 I agree and think frozen custard is also slept on
I’m with you Nick, I still have my iPhone 8 Plus lol
Haven't watched yet but reading the title made me imagine Nick as Tootles from Hook. Just going on and on about how he lost his marbles.
THAT'S EXACTLY HOW I PICTURED IT! 🤣
Everything they said about not tipping or only giving people a $1 for a drink sounds so insane to my NYC ears. Here you tip 20% of whatever it is no matter what it is, then you decide if that was enough, if you should feel guilty that you didn't give enough, or if you're angry that you gave that much.
There is absolutely a way to restore your photos. They're stored in Apple's cloud, and should be accessible when you log in to your apple account.
Nick wants that Total Recall experience with the mushrooms.
I don't know if I can say this 🤣 but NYC ACTUALLY has Jerk Off Stands 🤣🤣🤣 It was indeed a good idea 🤣🤣🤣 Sorry Greg, a little late. Like 20 years late 🤣
There's no good or bad trip. Just good and bad environments. That's one of the things you learn. ✌️
Nick, I fully support you taking shrooms to experience what it is like. Of course, there is a chance to have a bad trip but it's very small especially if you are confident in yourself and your day-to-day life being what it is. Weed also gives me anxiety but I've only had good experiences with shrooms and other forms of hallucinogens.
I will say when it comes to tripping on psychedelics, it’s one of those things where if you are in the mental space to do it like Nick is, I think you will have a fun time. But like Greg and Andy for example would have a terrible time cause it’s already something they don’t wanna do, the trip will only elevate that. I hope that makes some sense
Also definitely wanna do it in a environment you feel safe and in control of. It’s not like taking a puff of weed and walking around.
Do the mushrooms.
Happy Birthday Tim.
Whenever I can, instead of getting ice cream, I get Italian ices. If you've ever seen The King of Queens, the opening of the show is shot in Queens, NY. In the opening, there's a point where Doug and Carrie go to get Italian ices at King of Corona Ices in Corona, Queens where I grew up and am now. They have almost every flavor of ice cream available as an ices. I usually get the peanut butter.
yo, sorbet is the shit, there is a place for it, and it's not interchangable with ice cream. they stand alone. I just got a machine that makes dope ice cream and sorbet...we've made mango, longan, lychee, pear, peach, pineapple so far. it's a really nice summer treat after dinner.
Nick mentions finances when he goes to Starbucks 3 times day lol. That’s where my money goes too honesty
As a bartender, I'm always interested in hearing other's opinions on tipping, they're all over the place lol. If you're tipping a buck for a beer, no problem. If you're tipping 10 bucks on your $200 bill at the end of the night, we're gonna have issues lol
Making eggs and coffee, good morning guys
When’s the Greg’s Jerk Off Stand merch droppin’?
Nick probably spends $30 daily on coffee, yet he doesn't want to spend that much monthly on a new phone 😅
Andy was right lol! What happened during Summer Games Fest podcast? 😂
Oooooh! Exciting time! Poop blow outs mean it's time to really get started with potty training! If diapers can't contain what's going on now, bigger ones won't either as they'll be too loose and let the poop out more easily. The time has come. Get that potty, put it in the bathroom and when you see Ben trying to hide or you start smelling his farts 😂, run him in there, sit him down on the potty and sit yourself on the toilet. He'll get it fast. Congrats!
Andy just wants a really good VR video game where he can try out all the drugs and then just take off the headset whenever shit gets too real. 🤣
I'd like to request that a action figure of Optimus Prime takes the place of Patrick next time
really though they were gonna go with a thumbnail of greg in a lemonade stand type structure
As a licensed massage therapist, I have to say thank you nick for the bit at the end there about clearing the lines about sex work and massage. ❤ A lot of us treat our industry to high standards and it is considered a health therapy, stinks when we get the person who comes in expecting "happy endings"
You fellas sound so silly the way you’re talking about mushrooms…
As someone who works at a four-star hotel, as a Valet/Bellman. PLEASE TIP US!! We make four dollars an hour plus tips
After having to go through the process of replacing the screen on my phone, it is insane on the mark up when you ask someone to do the repair for you compared to getting the part from an approved supplier and doing the replacement yourself. Yes it may feel risky, but it can be done. From replacing the screen on my Pixel 6a, I just wished the instructions from google and repair manuals were better, would of saved a lot of frustration. What really gets me is that manufactures do not keep parts going for phones after 3ish years, so, something that should be an affordable purchase to do the repair yourself ends up with a negative cost benefit to it - which sucks balls.
Ice Cream Samples are for free loaders. It’s a $3 ice cream cone, not a car. It’s not that big of an investment.
Nick is right about family time. Better to give them 5 good hours, than 16 curmudgeon hours.
Shrooms are a good time Nick, just do it with people you trust, in a safe space and have fun.
I mean...you CAN pay for that service. It's a profession that's been around for a while lol
Nick speaking for the people (like me)!!! I'm still using my perfectly fine 500gb iPhone 10s. I've never felt the need to always have the newest thing. If what I'm currently using is perfectly fine, why should I spend another $1,000+ for something a little shinier just cause others do it? I also think it's partly because growing up with my family we didn't have the newest of everything and we just made do with what we had and we were content.
The chapters are plot and RAGUBAGU? 😂😂😂😂
I think Greg and Andy are wrong about shrooms. It’s super therapeutic to micro-dose
Bartenders and Waiters deserve fat tips! Everybody else, you get the minimum lol
the time stamps are wrong in this one.
I volunteer to do mushrooms with Nick
Nick, it'll change your life.
Ragu bagu, on KF podcast? 🤨
Why are the time segments set up like in review? don't get me wrong its hilarious to think of Nick losing photos on his phone as the Plot segment but unless they rank apple as the number 1 villain its just a little distracting lol.
I don't think those are the right timestamps. 😆
Wadyu mean...... The iPhone is USB-C since last iPhone ? Here in the UK at least I think? Someone clarify pls
I went to a KFC last week and the debit machine had a tip thing on it. Like, I'm not giving you a tip. All these places are increasing their prices without increases anything else. I'm becoming anti tipping now.
Hold up at the start to Greg just admit his way of falling asleep is podcasting, I really hope its that he is listening to a podcast and based on the topic i have more questions. But does Greg pretend/dream about podcasting while falling asleep?
I love when you guys get dirty! lol😇
I've never heard so much Andor praise before
anyone ever have possession dreams? those are fucking WHACK
Timestamps are wrong
The gays have bathhouses so we’re good 🤣
Yea tipping has gotten outta hand
So is it a bad time to bring up I had to take my 2019 Macbook Pro into an apple affiliated store to fix my keyboard which thankfully due to them knowing it was badly designed was covered for four years and therefore replaced it and a new battery all for free? and I didn't even bother backing it up or signing out of my socials and lost nothing.
Love shrooms. Do it
I'll be honest, aside from those who just simply do not like the Multiverse Saga, I think a lot of people are going to be surprised at how their perception changes on the other side of it all. I think, at least in terms of how it all connects, we just don't see it yet because we aren't there, and this Multiverse story has so many more moving pieces than the Infinity Saga story.
Nick definitely doesn’t have time to watch anything besides 80s movies on FX with commercials
Does anyone like the little circle video pop up things? It's always very distracting IMO but maybe I'm the only one.
If you have an android you won't see green text bubbles at all so there's that
Damn spoilers for dr strange man I’m still working on all the content a little warning would be cool. By the way I’m not even that far off I’m currently in the end of Wanda vison.
With the MCU I think it's more down to quality over quantity. Make the content, make it well and don't rush it. For all that it seems pre prepared it feels quite thrown together recently which is unfortunate when they have such a wonderful world they've built.
It seems as though end of phase 6 will be a reset. Which I almost hope they begin again, completely new fresh with a solid plan for the next decade. New actors, new world building etc
Spiderman and guardians have done great. Flash fails. Does tht show superhero fatigue or bad movie fatigue.
And obviously saying the business movie studio should have ended at Endgame is dumb
It's a good thing Tim was not on this one
Bullshit we haven’t heard fun stories cause Tim can’t share his list
I’ll tip my hair cut person and that’s it I’m not tipping anyone else sorry I don’t feel bad 😅
I'm with Nick $20 in singles in my wallet for tipping. I work in a service industry job, so those help, especially now since IRS, are taxing tips as well as your wages in the US, depending on the job.
where Colin ? oh yeah greggy through him of off a Cliff because of hes a terrible friend , and tim is a creep btw
Giving 300 dollars to apple to replace the screen on your old phone was financially irresponsible I’m sorry. You should of had the other dudes at the mall fix it for 100 bucks.
Don't do shrooms nick.
Him not doing well with THC makes me err on not recommending it either, but if he’s in a good head space for like 5 hours with a good sherpa, it could be worth it lol. At worst it’s a new 5 minute chunk for him..? haha
Google colbalt mines
