When you feel the need to change your hair, right now, today, and you cannot wait. It's not your hair you need to change, put down the bleach/scissors and call a friend to talk
I have posted your bleaching videos several times. I have teenage nieces and nephews, and told the parents if their teen wants to bleach their hair, HELP THEM, because one way or another, they're going to do it, and it might as well be done right!
You can live through a bad hair color from bleach, but these girls who burn their hair off and burn their skin to the point of bleeding... Heart breaks for them.
Was looking for this. 15:00 was brutal. Hopefully she realized that the other girl wasn't ever really a friend when watching the video back and she cut the other girl out of her life.
soooo.... after dyeing my hair on my own for the past 13+ years (mostly dark brown since it is the easiest to deal with), I finally went to a salon and had it bleached and dyed. I wanted to go lighter, so the bleaching was unavoidable, but guess what.. the result is really nice and I love my new color!!! Was it really expensive? Yes. Was it still worth it? ABSOLUTELY YES. Seeing these fails just reminds me why I spent the money I did (and will have to spend from now on to keep my current color) haha if it wasn't for you and all the videos of yours I have watched, I may have tried bleaching my hair myself.. so THANK YOU Hair Buddha.. I swear I kept hearing your voice in the back of my head telling me to just go to a professional :D
It‘s just a matter of patience and skill. I did a foiliage on my brown dyed hair, starting in the back, and doing it three nights, so my arms could rest. Looked amazing. Has been growing out naturally, I need to dye my grey every six weeks, so all I have to redo is the face frame. I also didn‘t go past caramel/blonde, so my hair has managed to be healthy enough.
I love these videos. I feel for these people. In my 20s I messed my hair up big time with hair cuts. Never bold enough to dye myself. You give great advice!
Hoping you get to a million subs in 2025❤ l subbed early on and its been great seeing your channel grow! Can't wait to see you with a pink beard!! ❤😂🇦🇺
5:13 unnecessary commitment that turned into a traumatic experience. Chemical burns in the name of beauty. Poor girl I hope she sought medical care after that one. Ouch! It’s been 5 years since I went to cosmetology school and we still have the big standard T18 toning attempts still going strong haha
After being one of these women far too many times, I have learned to “change” my hair at that very moment by performing a different styling technique instead of cutting it. Curling my hair when I normally don’t or doing weird things with the flat iron has finally helped me not completely destroy my hair with such lasting effects.
Omg! Thank you for replying back! I highly appreciate it! My life has been really hard lately so you replying back and liking my comment does make it better! Luv ya! @@hair-buddha
I have always wanted "unconventional" colours for my hair, nothing to bold, something like a pretty blue or a rose gold colour. If I didn't have fair hair. I would definitely have it done at a salon. LOL Thank you for your knowledge. Even if I wouldn't dye my hair at home, at least I know what and what not to do! There needs to be an app created that you do a 360 picture or video of yourself or your friend, and it tells you exactly *what* to dye or colour in order. And instructions on how to do it correctly.
With these bleach videos we can really see that some 'helping' friends are actually the enemy and they ruin their besties hair on purpose this is sooo sad
i think they probably think its easier than it is... i do my hair at home ,ive done it for more than 15 years now and many people have asked me to do the same color i have on them or bleach their hair etc . ive always said no because i know enough to know its not that easy and their hair may not behave exactly like mine ....
I am completely silver and want to finally grow it out. My stylist started with the hair around my face and underneath using TINY section in foils. I have had my FIRST session. Most is very pale blonde, some is a bit orangish. I KNEW this is what would happen, I expected it. My next scheduled appointment is in a month. We MIGHT get it in the next session, but maybe not. I'm not worried about how long it takes. Anyone who thinks they can just bleach from dark color to silver in one sitting just wants to be bald. I have thigh length hair and I have zero desire to end up on a youtube video lol.
Hair Buddha! I love your channel so much, my friend! Discovered it this year & have been watching your past videos, & new ones as they come out! So happy ur thriving end of the year in ur RUclips career & I hope it keeps flourishing! Already a successful man building more for himself and his family.. (& the entertainment of us hah). Have an amazing 2025!
People think bleach & color are PAINTS!! No joke I had an older woman (60) say she wanted platinum PERMANENT not TONER. I tried to use my school books to show her and her daughter...but it was lost to them both!!
Merry Christmas to you and your family Hair Buddha! Your videos are my happy place, whenever I'm anxious or need cheering up I turn to you. Wishing you peace and success x
The higher to volume on T18, the less it deposits! I used T18 with joico 5% and direct deposit developer by redken & was able to get deposit....not much.... There is a BIG sign where the perm & lye straighteners are that require a license at least......😅
Yes, it is basically like ordering a pizza. You'd be surprised what's on offer through some of the delivery apps these days. Personal grooming, pharmacy items, convenience store, and pretty much any type of food you could possibly want, cooked or not, not quite 24 hours a day, but a good 18. Some of them you can actually get someone to run your errands.
I was considering bleaching and going gray. After watching your videos, not going to. I have very dark base color with about a third gray. I also have had reactions to a perm in the past. So no for now.
Hi Hair Buddha and lovely family. Thank you for all your content....I adore watching and tips and hints. Brilliant. Happy Christmas and a happy new year to all
My first full head bleach experience was a disaster from a professional. I had a short pixie cut with my natural red colour and we went platinum in one application. She plastered my whole head with 40 vol like it was shampoo and let me sit for at least 40 min. It was agony. I asked her if it was supposed to hurt and she said yes. She was a bleach blonde and a hairdresser so I trusted her. My entire scalp- top to bottom and side to side, was burnt to the point of being scabby and crusty and oozing. There wasn’t a single spot left of normal skin. My hair product for the next few weeks was antibiotic cream from my doctor (who audibly gasped when she saw my scalp). It healed, I didn’t lose my hair like my mother worried I would, and it did look good. I was annoyed it looked so good considering what she did to me. Once my scalp healed a bit, I went back and showed her. She never admitted anything went wrong. The closest she said was that when we dyed it darker as soon as we safely could was that we would use ammonia free dye. That’s it. I didn’t know red hair was hard to lift back then. Red is light, blonde is light. Should be easy. It was a decade before I trusted another hairdresser to do more than foils that would and could not touch my skin. Now I know my routine for it regardless of hairdresser- 10 vol for 20-40 min depending on what we’re doing to it after it lightens.
I get my hair professionally lightened (2x or so per year because it is not cheap) and my skin always reacts to the toner - interestingly, only my left ear gets swollen and red and hot and itchy. Last time I spent days putting hydrocortisone on it to calm it down.
I wanted to bleach my regrowth (done it a million times) but I thought I'd do it after Christmas (before NYE), life had other plans. I was preparing Christmas dinner and sliced a big chunk off the top of my finger with a veggie slicer. Can't wear gloves for another week and I have to wait for it heal mostly before I even think of bleach. Instead I'll just watch Hair Buddha cringe massively. 😂😂
@hair-buddha my pleasure, we need more kind, educated, professional and good-mannered RUclipsrs like you. You're informative and so fun ❤️ Happy New Year to you and your beautiful family ❤️❤️❤️

guys please, do test hair piece first. girl with severe scalp damage were clearely spotted red after done even first round of bleaching. except she already had her hair dyed earlier, is you're feeling bad, your cheeks/mouth/fingers(inside) are itchy, feeling like you're slooooowly passing out, and if you're on !periods! - stop bleaching, wash your hair, take something from allergy and go sit and rest. always eat before bleaching. you want to be pretty, and your hair will grow again if you'll dye your hair bad. but your health is much more important.
Sorry not sorry, the second girl was just simply stupid I've seen this video before and I absolutely cannot believe what she allowed to happen to her scalp. Damaging your hair is one thing. Damaging your flesh for vanity is just insane. The pain she was feeling would have literally been close to 3rd degree burns and she just allowed it to continue.
We're adults. If we want to change our hair color, another adult shouldn't be able to tell me no! I guess we should just live under extreme laws and control. Give me a break.
This little thread of comments reminded me of many years ago when my husband was a restaurant manager and one of the servers was going to beauty school. He mentioned that I always cut his hair, and she was VERY upset when she found out I didn't have a license to cut hair. "Would you fly in an airplane if the pilot didn't have a license?!?!" 😂
@mlewis1177 I'm amazed by the amount of adults that wish to bubble wrap the world and have the government in their every decision. How would someone bleaching their hair until it all fell out hurt OP? It wouldn't, they just really want to tell people what to do, "for safety"

So what is about quick blue thats so bad? Never used it. But why does this seem to be the worse bleach to choose ?
You know Julie I'm not even sure. I'm assuming it's more damaging for some reason but I don't think I ever heard why. I'm guessing there may be more ammonia in it
I think he was upset over the 'volume' in another video but don't quote me on it. I'm a newbie and know nothing about bleach. Only bleach I ever did was lemon juice and the sun as a kid (it actually does lighten the hair a bit)
People mix up box bleach with box colour and there is a huge difference one lightens one just tones and might slightly lighten but more than a shade 😂
Omg how 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
My scalp doesn't even like too many shampoos. Especially after bleach. dont know how they can put that bleach on it over and over.😬
It should be a requirement before bleaching your hair that you watch Hair Buddha first. 😢❤😅

We don't know how to do this!! We don't have 300 dollars That mostly stylists charge,!! Its outrageous!!
I bleached the back of my head right above the neck so bad it bled, and almost a year later i still have dermatitis there

Girl doing pink hair , WOW how she thinks is posible and what was her goal!
Well, they say life's too short to have boring hair! Maybe her goal was just to turn heads-mission accomplished, right?
I so enjoy watching you lose your mind at these videos. Does that make me evil?????👿
Too bad box bleach doesn’t come with 20 years of experience! They could just tuck right it in the box, right next to the crappy gloves and 40 vol 🤣
Its already 👱♀️ blonde.i bleached my locs it was cute but my hair became so dry
And that's the reason why I never experienced with bleach. Box dye was enough and I didn't like it. Lol
It's definitely a safer choice! Box dye can be a lot less risky for those who want to avoid bleach disasters.
Poor hb nearly having heart attack with these silly women 🥴🥴🥴🥴
Why do so many people want bleach blonde hair
Because they love blonde hair. Blonde is one of the most popular hair colours and it makes woman feel good.
Bleech should only be lawful obtained if you can prove your a qualified hairstylist tbh
That's an interesting perspective! It's definitely important to be knowledgeable about the products we use, especially when it comes to Bleach.
Nah... people have the right to be stupid and damage themselves. They aren't hurting others with it
