- We stopped by 5 Star Tuning just in time to catch them bolting on an MBRP Cat-Back Exhaust to a 7.3L Godzilla V8 powered 2020 F-250 Tremor. It sounds strong.

Took my 7.3 gas to these guys over the weekend for the MBRP install. They never missed a beat, install was great, service was right on, and truck sounds good. Thanks guys.
I’d like to know how loud it is under acceleration, idle, and highway cruising in the cab.
Factory high flow chambered muffler and straight through resonator! Seems like Ford did a good job engineering the exhaust so I’ll keep my money in my wallet. Thanks for the video.
Much quieter than the mbrp kit on my 5.0 - it’s all because the pre rear wheel kit for coyote deletes the resonator entirely - and bolts on directly at the flange right after the cats. Sounds great on the 7.3 without all the additional drone at highway speeds losing the resonator causes on my 5.0 .

I have the SS version of this and is of reasonably good build quality. Sounds good though. What did you do to keep it off the spare tire heat shield?

Is that front stock can a muffler or resonator? Just curious why it was left in place is all.

I just wish someone would make a dual exhaust set up just like that one. Visually I have a hard time seeing one single exhaust vs two Big Black pipes on each side.
I'm a fan of single side exit dual exhaust. We'll probably get a few of those on down the road.

I've noticed that a couple of engine builders have installed headers on the crate version of this motor when they have it on a dyno. Is anyone offering headers for this engine yet?

I really like mbrp,but this setup sounds pretty bad,not as bad as their setup for f150 EcoBoost though.
All on all,this is the worst sounding aftermarket setup for the 7.3 equipped superduty

Catbacks on most modern vehicles produce little HP gain. It's all about that sound.

FatherTime don’t expect any mpg improvements from a cat back system. Headers maybe but not much

I don't know but would think that loud exhausts would get tiring when towing at higher rpms over longer distances! Perhaps someone with experience here could chime in to comment?
They get old real fast on long trips. I’ve added pre and after resonators on my v10 f250 with banks headers. I also ditched the banks muffler for a aero turbine resonated muffler

Agreed. Drone gets very old quickly while towing several hours. Additionally, I think the 7.3 has two mufflers and it looks like the first in line muffler was left on. I’m curious why?
Good video but sounds like just about every exhaust out there that's been put on a ricer with all the crackle.
Is anyone making a nice loud cat-back bolt on system for the 7.3 yet, maybe something in the flowmaster super 10 range? Love the obnoxious crackly sound. Haven't been able to find anything yet and this engine is begging to be heard
Go check out Stainless works on RUclips. They made a system for the 7.3 and it's killer. Way better than this system or Flowmaster.

Nice truck...and the install looked very nice..but honestly guys it sounds like a mutt....I mean it’s no powerhouse from the factory...I do subscribe to your channel and not at all a hater......it would have been nice to include the before and after dyno results....I would not expect as you say much...but still as a service to your fans some knowledge of price per horsepower would be interesting...
A cat-back is worth very little power. No point in dynoing it.
Have you seen dyno sheets? The power curve is a damn near 45° upward angle and the torque is flat as a surface plate. The factory cam is a very high lift, but short duration and it makes damn good power. I'll "white knight" for Ford on this one, the 7.3 Gasser is a bad MF.
