      The same thing is happening in NJ. My father has been trying to get a license since 2019. We went through a whole pandemic and while big dispensary chain’s have been profiting and perfecting their supply chain, my dad who is “connected”, black, and a veteran, has been holding an empty warehouse for years!! His company was called 93id, which has more presence on the web than the current name, GoodLettuce. Good work covering this topic!

New York is going through the same process, as far as stringing applicants along for the State to keep their money. Dispensaries that got the few licenses issued have yet to open for business, because the State legislature hasn't produced the regulations for these businesses to abide by yet. Allow me to be the first to say it, this might hurt a lot of businesses but if the people get together and don't buy weed from the dispensaries the value would go down and they would have no choice but to change the policies
    You have to remember they only make money if we buy it..

    I remember the good ole days in my early 20s for many many years of blazing up without a care in the world,bloodshot eyes and always having the munchies. Lol. I'm 35 now and can't smoke bud anymore without feeling like I'm dying and having a heart attack. Everything was good like always until 1 day i went to hit some about 10 years ago and my body changed! I still love the smell of some good killa though but just can't smoke! Don't ever think your body can't change on you in a heartbeat because it can.

      Yup and it can change right back. Quit after daily use for a couple years due to paranoia and anxiety and i was going to get tested. I thought i didn’t want to smoke again but after finding the right strains, proper dose and I find concentrates really kill my anxiety.
      I haven’t felt this clear in a long time, which is exactly how i felt when i quit aswell. We all have a path in life and while marijuana is a great natural medicine but sometimes its not what we need in our life.

    Absolutely disgusting the way Chicago is handling this. I support veterans but this isn't right. These social equity programs need to actually be enforced and there need to be way more licenses, and there MUST be regulations in place to stop the legal cannabis system from being taken over by corporate interests and whoever has the most money. As a cannabis lover I will never support that. I'll go back to buying from the illicit market and I know that a lot of others feel the same as me.

      They still don’t like cannabis this is just a crowd control measure. So they can claim they represent us for the taxation we are subdued to but this don’t represent me thats for damn sure.

    Wow..This was very informative and very well done ✅
    I wish I could say I'm surprised but unfortunately,these types of practices happen across the board with anything that appears to be lucrative.. Black communities and people become invisible,but yet it's our backs and our lives that created the lucrative end of such ventures..
    At every turn the government tries to block us from creating something that will truly bring about generational wealth, legally.. It shouldn't be so hard to obtain the go ahead to create these businesses in areas that the city has long since given up on,in many respects.. Let the people pull themselves up by their bootstraps..
    What is the government afraid of..?
    I live in Dallas and I have zero hope for anything beyond what's already in place,which is medical marijuana which is low THC and only about 5 or 6 medical conditions are eligible,but there are literally hundreds of doctors advertising to get folks on,to basically what amount to smoking hemp..😒
    I love that this was female based and the women are so passionate, articulate and knowledgeable about what they hope for and what should already be happening..💯

    The exact same thing just happened in VA, which was legalized last year, there are so few dispensaries around that most are out of state. The va legislation just passed a law to block small farmers and businesses from sales without major amounts of tax. It is something that the hemp farmers are angry about here, as it affects them, as well as the CBD sold in stores, they will not allow but a miniscule amount of THC in it, so this is giving time for big Canna to set up business and run the locals off by laws and taxes. It's set up for the rich by the government, it can't be any plainer to see what they are doing to maximize their profit and taxation. There has to be a way to stop the government from acting like they are letting us do this at costs that you have be in league with major business to succeed, I just don't have the info to know

      @trix1227 2 года назад

    • @COTH23
      @COTH23 2 года назад

      The answers to your questions are no and no. The human brain is in development continually from birth all the way to the age of 25. (Link posted below) So, this means that the human brain is not fully developed until the age of 25.
      Therefore, brain development and activity are definitely being impaired during those times of smoking marijuana.
      Check out the comment above where the person says that they started smoking marijuana in their early twenties and now at the age of 35 they cannot smoke it without getting sick and suffering a heart attack.
      The use of recreational marijuana will only cause a person to remain in a recreational frame of mind about life. ((Our people do not want to hear such truth.))
      You have to know that "they" know what "they're" doing to our young people and adults when they criminalize marijuana first and then legalize it later.
      They know that our people are not able to keep their hands off of it and that they will not succeed in life because of their improper use of it.
      You see, the "other people" knew how to manage their life and careers while using marijuana when it was illegal. They made sure not to get "caught" in their everyday living.
      Now that is is legal they are able to open up their own cannabis businesses. The other people knew that our people would produce for themselves a bad rap sheet when it comes to marijuana while it was illegal; so that when it became legal for use and selling our people would not be able to do so because of their past criminal interactions and encounters with marijuana.
      You see, it was their plan all along. As usual, they just depend on the improper actions of our people in the process to make it all happen for the good of themselves on the legal side. They always study our human behavior and so therefore they always know how we are going to act as a majority.
      Sad to say, as usual, our people always fall for what they do because our people are always trying to emulate them.
      We have to learn how to be our own people among our ownselves and stop trying to just get away with stuff like the other people always get away with stuff when it comes to the law.
      They have ways of getting away with it without getting caught and imprisoned.
      Our people need to learn how to live a life of decency and respect toward whatever laws for the sake of their livelihood and generational prosperity.
      As you can see, our children and young people are on a continual downward spiral even in the 21st century.
      Our people should have been going strong ever since the late 80s up to now. Our young people should have been the leaders and innovators and inventors of the now and tomorrow.
      Instead, they are breaking laws and becoming crime bosses in major cities at the age of 11. ((Such is the case in Chicago)) I would venture to say that they are smoking marijuana and/or inhaling second-hand marijuana smoke probably at the age of 14 or less and they are on the path to destruction because of such recreational use and exposure. So I'm in the state of Florida and here's what I told many of my street guys I informed them that their their lifestyle of selling marijuana will probably end once they legalize the selling and use of cannabis We're Seeing Mini shops pop up And here's what I told Many of the young people in the industry what to do go out invest in a smoke shop Get in on the back end of the cannabis stores It really is inexpensive to start a smoke shop And I've told many of my people to hurry up and do it before they close all loopholes Yes you can be a convicted felon and open up a smoke shop andyou can be a convicted felon and Sale beer and wine As long as you don't have any arrest on selling illegally cigarettes and beer or wine But sadly many have not listened to the information that I have given out and right now it is Getting to the point where I see a smoke shop on every corner and the people who are monopolizing on this concept are the same people who have been in the black community destroying the fabrics of the community You destroyed the community by taking the money out of the community and not putting money back into the community Like jobs I can go on and on but when someone tells you how to make money people let's start doing it I had nothing to gain by simply giving out free information which is public

      I’m in the Orlando area. I’m out of the game for good. One day in 2022, my Puerto Rican homeboy texted me saying he quit as well. It’s being dominated by weirdos that never had to risk selling it to keep the lights on and put food on the table. Yea I sold to some people with great professional careers that I won’t disclose. These dispensaries won’t hire a guy that looks like me even without drug convictions/felonies.
      I install car audio, security, cameras, and body modifications now. That’s what I’ve always wanted to do. Heck, I don’t even smoke because they took the fun out of it. Go the safe route and invest something non drug related.
