  • A few months back we started the custom snorkel kit for the H2, and while it's been done and on the truck for some time I never got around to editing the final steps of assembling the snorkel. So this is just a quick overview of what it took to make the kit, and in the next video on the snorkel we'll go over it running and driving!

In the next snorkel video we'll go get driving clips, impressions, and part numbers for those interested in doing something similar 🤙🏼

Looking forward to seeing your finished product. You will still need to remold your washer jug. I like my setup better, much cleaner and fully functional but a crazy amount of work !

It's working really great so far! I've put about 13k miles on it since I finished (spent 3 months traveling the West for photography so did about 10k in that short time) and now that I'm back we're getting longtubes and a tune, so should be running really good after that!

Any change in fuel Mileage? I gained 3 MPG when I snorkeled my FJ40. I've been wanting to do this to the H2 for awhile... good job

So I don't have any specific gains to tell you for the snorkel specifically, seemed pretty negligible in-city. Right after I finished the camper conversion I got on the road and spent roughly 3 months living in the truck, traveling the West and teaching photography. I was averaging between 12 and 14 on highway. I got back midsummer and put long tubes on the Hummer as well as a street tune and then got back on the road for another month. My average now on highway is between 15 and 18. There's a lot of variables in there, and not entirely scientific but everything as a whole really benefited from the street tune and I'm consistently getting much better mileage than before.

Appreciate that a lot! With all the cutting and changes I had to make to the truck to make it fit, really the only kit I could assemble would be the intake pipes and prefilter, so I think I'll make that overview video with part numbers and just save y'all that money 🤙🏼
