Your having trouble with your cast iron because you need to let it get hot before you add anything to it! This means putting it on the stove and leave for 5 mins..no oil or water...nothing! THAN add your food, oil etc. It will never stick this way.
Correct you are!!! And be sure to clean after every use with hot water, soap only if absolutely necessary!! Wipe small amout of oil or shortening or grease in afterwards and put away until next meal. Then as Richard says, must let it heat up to a good temperture before adding the eggs or whatever

That cast iron pan needs to be seasoned properly, washed with hot water and oiled after every use. I never have anything stick in mine. Just made eggs that slid out without a hitch...

When cooking eggs in cast iron pan, you need to put a lid on it! The second mistake people make is, you just wipe out a cast iron pan. If you wash it with soap and water it needs to be reseasoned. A tiny bit of oil goes a long way if the pan is seasoned right! The eggs will come out perfect!

I guess in winter you only hear the wind, no crickets, no birds.
Season your cast iron more and use a silicone spatula. Cooking eggs don't suck in a well seasoned pan. It's all I use and I can't stand scrambled eggs, so I promise it works

That feeling you talked about, I've lived in Maine my whole life and I just gotta say...Amen brother, amen.
If your eggs sticks in the Cast Iron Skillet, it may be because it's not well seasoned, plus you only have one temperature to cook on. Always heat the skillet before adding any cooking fat to it, then let the fat get hot&sizzling before cracking eggs in. Just from my experience with Cast Iron.
You would have done well with your eggs if you cooked your bacon first. Yes, sometimes I stop the video to comment on a particular area, then return to video. 😆

That cabin roof (ceiling) is all together something else. Do you know what product was used to construct it? I’d love to know as it’s another element that could be used to bring outdoors inside, so to speak. I love those kinds of things. Thanks, and great video. Have fun!

That cabin roof is made from corrigated poly cabonated plastic, that is supposed to be better than plexi-glass, just like sheets of "tin" for roofing, and the green fiberglass ones they make usually used for covering a porch!
One can find them at lowes and I would imagine any other home store location and lumber yard! If a place doesn't carry it they can more than likely order it in for you! I hope this helps!!! Blessings and grace of our creator and all my love!!!!
Keep some vitamin E oil on hand to put right away on those burns. And have on hand also some Lemongrass Spa "Healing Element Balm" for any skin issues--it's Great stuff.
Is there anyway to get a soundtrack list for the music in your videos? it’s the most soothing and peaceful stuff and makes me relax like no other. I live a fast pace lifestyle that’s mentally and physically draining, I’ve been chasing money for so long just to buy toys and things for happiness. Seeing your videos with the most simple way of living really makes me appreciate nature and life allot more. It’s definitely something so simple that often gets over looked. One day I’m just going to say fuck it, turn my phone and computer off and just spend a week off grid somewhere beautiful and remote. Thank you so much for making these great videos.
