Got to say that the colour of the walls and the panelling together looks great. I won’t pretend that I can see what Lesa has in her head, but when I see the result, I get it. ❤
14:30. Sugar is terrible stuff. It’s massively addictive and so bad for you. I’m going to look into Blue Jay Rx but have already cut back on sugar massively and notice a huge difference in the way I feel and sleep, and my acid reflux has also gone! Well done to the two of you for owning this, being so honest and driving the changes you want. You are both an inspiration! ❤
@@ChateauDeMontmagnermaybe a blue that’s in the accessories fabric? I thought I saw a blue in it but hard to tell on camera. Either that or a lovely old gold colour? Can’t remember if that colour is in your patterned fabric. 🙂
my husband used to have a fux painting business - he has done Fux technique through out our home - including stone castle walks …… well done Lisa ……. keep being creative with your decor …… love your work
I was liking the first but then the second was even better. Love your creativity both of you and even know budgets tight id rather the reuse and eclectic art . Perhaps burnt orange chart, golds and lighter blues.. 😊😊😊im still recovering from bronchial pneumonia,so I'm off to watch the panelling 😂 great job once again Lesa and Ted 😊
You’ve done it! The panels look amazing, & the colour of the walls is beautiful, I didn’t think I was going to like it at first, but once it was all covered & complete, it’s perfect & looks so expensive! Well done to you both! With lots of love and big hugs From Aberdeenshire Scotland ❤🤗xxx
You always get there in the end, and the aren't afraid to try new things, I really appreciate that! You're at a great foundation for the medieval style you're going for!
I love the look on Teds face when he says curly wurly so don’t worry about using my actual name, in fact it reminds me so much of my late dad who was the first to call me curly wurly and Ted reminds me of him ( he could find all sorts at the tip and turn it into something lovely)
The painted walls resemble polished leather.... very historical looking. Panellng, upcycling of old doors... smart and wonderful effect. As for paint colors on walls yet to come... remembering your fabric i rather prefer the teal/blue/green.... reminds me of peacocks.. irridescence that would look great with your faux leather walls and black panelling... But you must live with it and enjoy it... so go for it and have fun with your creative indeavor.
Like the wall color and the panels are so lovely. All the best to you both. So fun to follow and see how you are bringing the Chateau back to life!!! All the best.
Yay! Your project is coming along! I can't wait to see it all together! It really fits with the age of your property. I hope that you have a great week ahead! ( I think you both look nice! ) I am glad that you are looking after yourselves.
I love the wall color Lesa. I'm glad you didn't go with the darker shade of red. Although a great color, I think it would have been too dark for the room. I can't wait to see the finished results with the beautiful fabric you bought. 👏👏😍
I was going to suggest a rich gold for the wall. It matches the fabrics, will go well with the rich reds but won't be quite as dark as a red. I do like the color you have at the moment, it's along the line of what I was thinking.
Love the walls and panelling. It looks fantastic. I think burgundy accents with the mustard walls but with a little bit of mustard fabric as well. 🤷♀️ You will find the right combination.
Looking good! I know you weren't able to meet your original schedule with all the Life Happening this year, but you are going ahead by leaps and bounds! I get the sugar thing. What took me out was gluten and yeast. As much as I'd love to live in France, never being able to visit the boulangerie would be like hell. Walking past pain au chocolat and custard would be hell. 😭
Love the wall color! The panelling looks great too! I think the dark red colour will look gorgeous with those walls and your gorgeous patterned fabric!
I like the wine/burgundy color for the main color, do the mustard color and your fabric for the accent colors in the room. The wall and paneling are gorgeous guys!!! 👍🏻🥰🐶💙🙏
Brilliant paneling the walls are impressive the colour of your top when you were paint the wall with the sponge 👍🤗just popping over to the workshop video 👍🤗 ☕🍰☕🍰💐 Love Sue ❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
The walls look amazing, I think reds and golds would look fabulous with the walls and the gorgeous panelling. As for your health kick I too cut out carbs and sugars and my achy knees are better and like Ted I don’t get any acid reflux anymore, plus I have increased energy and lost 2 stone in 5 months, it’s amazing how bad carbs can be for inflammation in your body! I totally agree with everything you are saying, it’s a game changer 💕
This wall coloring is amazing! I just wish you'd hold up that gorgeous fabric next to it, then I might be able to tell what other color would work best with it And you said about your changing to wiser food options "you MIGHT notice .." well, I ALREADY HAVE noticed, in the last few videos! Trimming down a bit is such a wonderful feeling! Congratulations on that, and on finding that gorgeous fabric on line! Can't wait to see what all you do with it!
The artistic effect of your work on the walls with the sponge is very attractive. Also, I have cut down on sugar and carbohydrates as well. My daughter and I are loosing weight and feeling less achy too. I decided to take glucosamine chondroitin, and it help a bit too.
I have had joint pain for years because of fibromyalgia and chronic Lyme. This takes away all the pain without mind altering drugs: Heal and Soothe. It is amazing and I can’t say enough good things about it. Also ultra red and infrared wrap. And now I’m using Arthrozene to rebuild my joints ( I need two knee replacements and a shoulder replacement). Works a treat, even with my severe chronic Lyme. Glad you went with a light wall. Think that was the way to go!
The new paneling looks great. Please do not choose mustard to go with your new wall treatment. A shade of red would be preferable considering the dominant color you've created. You really should let your accent fabric dictate your color choices. Your entire color palette should be in the fabric selvedge. I recommend bringing a swatch of the fabric with you on your trips to the paint store. Paint is cheap relative to the cost of fabric. Paint can be tinted to match anything, but don't try it with fabric.
Your project is gorgeous. I really like what you have done with the walls and the wood. That technique is tedious at best, yet so worth the time it takes as it looks great.
It's coming on well, guys. You're speeding along. I can't wait to see it all come together. It's going to look "warm medieval". Glad you're sorting your weights a bit. Good that you're getting a bit fitter. You'll need that to finish all the work you have planned! ❤
The panelling looks great maybe hold the fabric up so the people could see the vision as well . Stress can make you eat things not healthy for everyone . Exercise and being relaxed , sleep helps one to loose weight
I really like the wall color and the paneling. I think the red color in the fabric you bought would be beautiful for the bed spread, then use the fabric for the accent color. Great job you two. Kathy USA 🇺🇸
Great intro .yes paint colour is nice ,after last weeks video most of us voted dark but later on I worried as the dark paint looked too dark against the beams ,glad you went a bit lighter .Nice panelling too .
I loved the way the wall turned out. Absolutely gorgeous!! Gives that Olde World feel. Can't wait to see what you do next to the room. The wood panels Ted put in just tie the wall color right in. 👍
Lesa you never disappoint! Great colour on the walls. Ted, the panelling looks perfect!
Glad you like it!
I don't reallyunderstand why you needed a 2nd channel, we love the content on this one. Is it about money?
Bronzy gold would look amazing with that wall color
I agree with this! More of a bronzy gold than a yellow mustard could look stunning. 😊
