These are great. No one else shows this, or gives this much detail.

Very true, very true... at least none that I can. Heck, try to find a price on-line without having to call the company first. Globe Trekker has up front pricing... no taxes, no import fees.

My only advise to anyone who wants to travel the world by vehicle.
Just get an truck and drive guaranteed to have the most fun.
Dont bother with all the add-ons and upgrades etc.
It is all money and time gone to stuff rather experience.
The 2 only resources that will you need.

This is exactly why we created everything DIY and able to build in days rather than months or years. We want people to get out there and explore. The habitats are for when you get tired of pitching a tent, especially in the rain, snow, extreme heat or cold.

As I have forgot the name of the end of a drill bit, but the pilot bit only needs to fit into that hole for drilling. A dribble of oil from above usually allows more oil to dribble into the hole for lubing.

The drill bit was quite a bit used, I believe when we started. Dull bits make drilling a real pain. Sharp, brand new bits are the way to go and how to press the "easy button."

@@RVGlobeTrekker The cutting edge of drill bit is for just that . Not the stepped up in size as was mentioned. I used to see it on jobs all the time. Having to be spun at that speed as for them.

Would you please do an ultra in-depth video by one of your engineers on how a zero torsion system works? I under stand how the brackets and pivots that are on the midline between the frame rails of the truck work in allowing the trucks frame rails to twist, but I am less clear on what the side pivots role is in the system.

Yes... and I can also explain. Whereever you mount the side pivot brackets to the truck frame... whereever that part of the frame twists, so to will your habitat in the same manner. So, if you want a pass through (for instance), you would want your side brackets are far forward as possible, since there will be less frame rail between the cab and where the side brackets are mounted, therefore less a chance for the truck frame to twist. This allows the habitat to travel similarly to the cab. Here is the video you wanted: ruclips.net/video/RrQIlNYHNWs/видео.html and this one: ruclips.net/video/FCsKDBQKEck/видео.html

Nice videos and thanks for shareing as educate me. From which materials you make the subframe and pivots/brackets and what coating

The base materials are steel, and the process is as follows. After welding, the subframe is bead blasted, followed by an epoxy primer and then powder-coated as one piece to ensure the best corrosion resistance possible. The bracket materials are steel. The 2" diameter pins are chromoly steel (over 120,000 lbs. shear strength, each, there are three on a 3-point subframe), and the oil impregnated bushings are solid bronze (60,000 lbs rated maximum load, each... there are four on a 3-point subframe).
