Absolutely brilliant Podcast - probably your best one yet Korda.... Who knew that the Angling Trust were doing all this on OUR behalf, about time everyone got behind them and helped where possible... Keep up the outstanding work Jamie.

Fantastic podcast. Great to have someone so passionate and knowledgable leading the way for the future of angling. There’s not many people who could engage an audience as well as Jamie, incredibly eloquent and the work he did during covid to get us back on the bank was stellar. I was also lucky enough to meet Jamie when he started out on the Reading waters and he’s an incredible all round angler, his watercraft is unbelievable! Well done mate and to Korda for shining a light on the importance of the Angling Trust.

Throughly enjoyed this pod cast, so many social, economic and health impacts shared and discussed that all form part of fishing. Loved to listen to how we cannot win agaonst predation and how we must chose the battles. Finally, what a angler, thank you for sharing your journey. Truly epic.

Great podcast! Really enjoyed listening to Jamie talk about his superb carp fishing in the Reading area. Encouraged that the head of the Angling Trust is an experienced carper, and super impressed with all the great work the Angling Trust is doing under his leadership. Will be renewing my lapsed membership! 👏

Wow Amazing Podcast! Fantastic that someone so passionate is leading the charge! I actually found the political part very interesting. Good to see the podcast has multiple dimensions

I agree, when he tells a Story, you feel you there or observing the scenes.

Fantastic informative podcast. One of the best so far and good to see the team tackling a wider range of topics. Well done guys. Jamie’s articulation on the challenges we face as anglers and how the Angling Trust and the EA deal with them was delivered in a way most anglers will understand. I think I speak for many anglers in saying I had no idea of how the Angling Trust organisation worked and now that I do I will be joining and will encourage others to do the same. I’ve never been a fan of the EA as I have experiences with them outside of angling which have been very negative but I now have a better understanding of how they can help angling but they really need to improve their image for anglers. A recent campaign by them on social media was a complete PR disaster and attracted nothing but negative comments - hundreds of them which gives an idea on the bad feeling anglers have towards them and might explain why the percentage of anglers without rod licences is so high. If this was addressed then funding for all the important work they can do and also for the Angling Trust would be greater. I’ll end by making a personal thank you to Jamie and his team for the selfless and amazing work they do to secure angling future.

Total eye opener to the fishing Trust and what it involves and also some of the issues they have to work through and fight against. I knew some of it but not all definitely will look into joining . Absolutely brilliant podcast 👏 and has also slightly changed my mind about otters
