Emeritus scalding plus waning moon and metacarpus also can do 10. You’ve got the resources after striders, ES, flamescale. That’s how I’ve been winning.
I was looking forward to this. Emperor and Arakni SC are the two decks that I want to try for my skirmishes. I have been away from Blitz for a while, but those decks are calling me back to it. I want to try Emissary of Tides in it as well. It is a 0 for 4 that only block for 2, but if you can keep 2 cards it becomes a 1 for 6 kinda like Standing Order, but with cards from hand instead of arsenal.
I have been running emperor since before last Skirmish season. I have always ran metacarpus node, its such good tech. My deck started out looking pretty much exactly the same as yours however it has changed a lot over the last year, with the additions of cards such as adrenaline rush, blessing of aether, exude confidence, healing balm, kindle and plunder run, with a sideboard of eirina's prayer, emissary of tides, oasis respite and steelblade shunt. I love the ability to be able to punish people based on their choice of equipment.

@@artofcod2913 yeah your newer additions sound alot like my current build. Adrenaline Rush is interesting though
The Emperor rules. You can punish your opponent if they bring in a lot of AB and you side in more physical attacks or if they bring in little to no AB you can go heavy on arcane damage. Puts them in a tough spot because of the angles we can attack.
Is there a reason why Blaze isn't just strictly better than Emperor? The only cards Blaze can't play are Flamescale, Bracers and Tomes, but in my mind 2 more health, actually beneficial hero ability, and being able to play blues and yellows more than balance that out. I've been playing Emperor in blitz when I want to win (and Benji when I just want to have fun), but with Blaze in the meta, I don't really see the value of Emperor any more if you're playing to win. Or am I missing something? (I kind of really hope I am.)

Love this video, thanks my friend!
Unfortunately he has been bumped down just ever so slightly due to Blaze... but still a super awesome hero!
@@DiceCommando I thought the same and then I played it a few times and it wasn't as awful as I expected 🤔

Yeah I have been tweaking and changing it ready for this upcoming Skirmish season 9.
Awesome deck tech thank you!!
Emp is one of the only young that interested me since i started playing

Took this list to an armory tonight. Got folded by dash in 3 turns, and struggled very much beating vynsett
I won a skirmish with emperor last year, and plan to play him again.

Where is commoner??
When do you bring in Braveforge? Like what typical matchups?
@@calebhaney6451 I'd bring it in for all brutes and Victor to start. I'm starting to run node into almost everything else, though.
@@DMArmada thanks 😁
Was Kindle not a consideration?
Nope, as it doesn't provide as much benefit in this more mid-range style deck
@@DMArmadafair enough I just find the card draw gives so much value
Or play blaze, practice on talishar, and draw all red hands into the mirror and lose against DMArmada 🥲
@@tylerluttrell2544 that works as well!
